Google Chat Tool Registration

Create Google Chat tool in Opsera to collaborate and work, by registering the tool in Tool Registry.

Fetch Webhook URL from Google Chat

1. Open your Google Chat application.

2. Open the channel and Manage Webhooks.

   
3. Copy the Incoming Webhooks URL and use it for setting up a connection for the Google Chat app in Opsera.

   

Register Google Chat Tool

1. Login to Opsera, and navigate to Tool Registry.

2. Click + New Tool.

3. In Step 1, select the Anchore Tool from the listing.

   
4. In Step 2, enter the basic details for the tool and set the Access Control by defining the users and the access type. Once done, click Create.

   
5. In Step 3, enter details for GChat Webhook URL. Click Save.

   
6. In Step 4, the tool connection will be tested.

Note: In case of tool connection failure, click Try Again to re-enter the tool configuration details. To proceed with the tool creation and set up connection later, click Skip to Tool Detail.

Your tool will be successfully configured in Opsera.
