Formula One

I have to say that the F1 race @ Singapore is pretty well done.. It caught my attention much more than I expected. Wasn't exactly into the F1 hype and intending to spend my weekend as usual..

Went to Isetan for shopping on Fri. Was supposed to go home with Jiahui but Brian came along and wanted to bring her to his office to catch the F1. So I'm one lucky gal at the right place and right time to tag long. Got to watch the cars pretty close up from One Raffles Link! Wow, the noise is really quite loud. It was really scary at one point of time when we were driving just beside the F1 cars.. Sounds as if they were coming at us!

Watched the qualifying round on sat at home. Then lucky me went to raffles city tower under invitation on sunday to watch the finals! Had a good view of most of the roads around the padang... Pretty goood eh? I think it's really pretty with the buildings all around, modern tall commercial buildings building and colonial city hall beside. Would be even better if more buildings are lighted up!

Vroom vroom... Quite cool to see the cars zoom by..

Got a shot of the safety car in front of Suntec too! Of course I thought that it was quite boring after a few laps just watching the cars go by, so I shifted my attention to the projector screen showing the live telecast on Ch5.. Woohoo! I think it's like watching soccer matches. You need a big screen and pple around to say 'ooh' & 'aahh' with you. But I guess the most exciting part of the race is the overtaking, and of course the crashes! What a pity that none of the crash happened at one of the visible corners near me. Would love to take a photo of it...

So it is the end of this year's F1 at Singapore. Took a photo of a scene on the projector screen and I think it's my favourite photo now... There is PM Lee Hsien Loong to signify the first race in Singapore. And that's Hamilton in 3rd place who's a pretty handsome F1 drive. What more can one ask for? =)

So shall wait for the next F1. Hopefully I get good deals in non-crowded air-conditioned areas again!

Flyer

wen, hui, zhen and i went to the singapore flyer on sunday! Since it's a hen's party, we decided to go on the signature cocktail flight! It's much more expensive, with a cocktail, a cocktail glass as souvenir, a special flyer that gives pictures and descriptions of surrounding buildings, and a lanyard.

Souvenirs are one thing, but it's fun to only share the cabin with another couple. Nice that it's not so crowded and we could move around from one end to another to take photos, photos and more photos!
Don't have much photos to show cause they weren't taken on my camera..
I don't mind going on the flyer again! Not as boring as what people described. Or maybe cause there were 4 of us to jump around... =)

Baking class

Thanks to sab, I went to Phoon Huat for a baking class together with some of my colleagues who signed up too!

3 hour course. Learnt how to make tiramisu and mixed berries crumble... Yum yum!! Hopefully I get to remake them properly just by looking at the recipe... =)

Oh well, my photography skill ain't that good, plus I didn't really bother to capture them at a good angle, so just a preview..

Horrible

I have already been complaining about our mrt during morning peak hours. Hopefully we do not ever reach this state... NEVER!

If this happens, it'll create some employment. One train, 6 carriages, 4 door/carriage, 2 pusher/door = 48 pushers. If there are 50 stations, that means 2400 pushers!
