When would I be able to sing a nice duet? Hard to find a singing partner

Had sec 4 class gathering... Well, not completely my class cause a couple of gals from 412 came too. Met at someone's house, or I shld say rented apartment with bf as housemate... =)

Let's see... I meet them abt once every 1 or 2 years? I don't really talk much. Listen more about the things they say, as usual. Got to hear roughly where everyone is working now. It's amazing how time passes.. Not long ago, we were asking which school and course they were in. Now, we're talking about job and company. God knows when we will be talking about hubbies, kids and wat not.. (I'll touch on this later)

Some observations:
1. Personality definitely doesn't change much. Pple still behave the same.. The talkative pple are talkative. The quiet pple are quiet. The gossipy ones are gossipy.
2. Hear more accent
3. Some gals seem to have grown thinner. Can't remember whether they were as thin as before, or thinner. Maybe to look pretty
4. Some of them like beer and smoke

Back to the hubby and kids topic... I just realized something through the conversation... One gal is already married and 6 or 7 months pregnant!!! My goodness!! I never heard of that until today!!!!

Supposedly, 1 out of 3 of us will get married, approximately 30 pple.. One down already.. Another down in this dec... And quite a few seem pretty stable...

Chio ah!! I like this! Back end of the plane.. Bed, big comfy seats, etc etc.. 

My dream private jet... Think it really only exists in my dreams... 

for those who dunno, i shall just update about my life... nothing exciting.. I just finished my salsa beginner I class. Will start on beginner II and casino rueda soon...

And I just finished my 2nd class of jap lang... it's more conversational but i'm memorizing the hiragana by myself...

it's nice to be learning something you like. You enjoy it and you can make sure that ur brain's still working

I'm on course this entire week.. I can say that I like going for course!!!! This one especially...

1) The instructor is quite interesting.. Lots of stories from him cause he had lots of experiences about HR in UK, US and Singapore...
2) It starts at 9am. And my fren staying nearby has a course around the area too. So I can catch a ride and leave abt 1 hr later than usual.
3) I've slept at abt 10+pm these two days..Plus waking up late.. That equals to more sleep than usual! Actually I feel the most refreshed, the most sleep for the last few months....

Diamonds are a gal's best fren....

True or false? i dunno... But I'm hoping that i'll be able to afford my own diamond accessories in the near future... Currently aiming for a diamond ring..

Saw 2 on Sunday.. One costs $1000+. It's a few abt 0.05carat diamonds put together.. Looks like a big one in the middle and 2 on each side...

Saw another I like.. $5000+. A 0.6 carat diamond with a 0.05 diamond on each side....

niceeeeeee..... but err.. i'm far from getting it... farrr.... Doubt I'll dare to wear it out on normal days too..

sometimes I wonder if it's good or bad to be a smart gal....

got to learn to act dumb at the correct times....

back to reality... work hard..

been out for 3 consecutive nights... until I do not feel like going out on a fri night.. hee.. it's too tiring especially on working days after accumulated lack of sleep..

anyway, my last 2 gatherings was with sec sch frens... First, met up with rgs ttt frens... It's scary cause we've known each other for 11 years!!! Although I'm not very close to most of them, but it's still interesting to meet and catch up with one another...

Second, met my grp of gd frens. 2 I've known since sec 3...

really scary how time passes so quickly...

Had a conversation with my colleague abt her 2 and half yr old son about teaching her song maths and how to read time... That sparked off a qn that I asked my mom... "Mom, how old was I when I was able to do maths?" And that sparked my mom to dig out my photo albums and look at my old photos....

So, I saw her with the photos and I started getting curious again.. Took out my photos ever since I was a kid... Have answers to some questions now...

Q: How come I like Bengawan Solo Pandan cake even though I seldom eat it now?
A: I had it for bday cake 3 times... 2nd, 4th and 9th bday. Eat since young and linked to happy things.. Maybe that's why...

Q: How come some of my cousins are closer to me and one is like a little brother?
A: I think I saw them pretty often and hung out with them. They appear in quite a few photos. One even came to my house and join in my bday celebration at least once!! And that cousin is my "little brother"

Q: When did I have this musical box with 2 kissing dolls that move when the music plays?
A: 8th bday. It appeared in the photo with my bday cake when I was 8.

Well, I didn't have that much time to look in depth and reflect more.... But I think photos are very interesting.. Makes u think back and look back.. I still remember my old house, my old toys, soft toys, bed, sofa, etc etc.... I think I've recalled a lot of things that I've sometimes overlooked....

Anyway, if you are interested to know the ans to the first qn... My 1st photo of me doing maths was when I was abt 3+ years. The addition of 2 digits and 1 digit. So, I learnt my first math prob earlier...

Q: Why did I like math ever since I was young and did pretty good in it?
A: Cause my mom taught me how to since young.. Hard work but worth it...

Feeling sleepy... Woke up before I got 8 full hours of sleep.. Think my body clock is getting used to working hours

I've finally been to MOS.

Seriously, I don't club, dun chiong... It's only my 2nd time in a club and maybe u can count it as my first time chionging. First time I went clubbing was a bash organized by py. Went to support my gd fren mah... When the dance floor started at abt 12, I was preparing to leave liao....

So, my first time chionging... Err... I like the decor for retro. I like the seats but I didn't get a chance to sit on them leh.... I prefer r&b music... It's nicer to move with.. (not that I actually danced... Only moved a bit in r&b room) House music ok lah... Very loud and just rhythm...

Personally, my favourite room is the pure room. Big white round cushions, just like a bed. Would love to sit on it and chill.. Looks really cosy.. And no loud music.. =) I personally prefer to chill than chiong....

Tonight got special famous DJ for house music. But I definitely can't tell what's the difference between having a good or lousy one... haha.. no diff to me

Club dancing - Not my kind... I can shake and move a little but just not my kind. I do salsa dancing, but not club dancing... It looks mainly of just bobbing up and down, shaking left and right. At least that's what I saw from the top... Maybe a few shaking of body and wat not here and there.. But the main thing is just to shake to the rhythm..

Company wise.. not bad lah.. friends.. Played some finger guessing game, scissors paper stone and wat not.. Only drank a little.. Had to open a bottle of chivas so that we could get a table... Small tall table with 4 chairs.. And more than 10 of us.. But most of them would go dance, or come back and stand in a circle and play games...

So i guess that should be all for MOS... Don't have the intention of going back again... Nothing very special to me other than the fact that there are a few rooms and it's big...

Arghz.... I shampooed and conditioned my hair twice. But I still smell cigarette smoke.. bleahz!

I watched the show, 'Fearless', by Jet Li on wed night.... So here's my movie review..

It's not bad.. The front part is a little violent cause I don't really like the sight of breaking bones, pulling fingers and hands backwards, blood and stuff.... But overall, I like it pretty much.. The actions are nice to watch. The end fight is nicer to watch where it's less violent.. Jet Li is definitely nice to watch even though he has grown older... I still think he looks best when he does tai chi. Soft moves with strength from time to time... Very very nice..

I still wanna watch memoirs of a geisha...
