Gianni, From the api you can call vis5d_linewidth(int index, float width), I don=B4t think you can do it from the gui. If you=B4re really desperate you could hard-code a change in the render_hslices (render.c) just follow the hard-coded examples already present in, for example, render_vclips. Dear all, I attempt to make a temperature image using a TCL script. In the same image I want to show iso-contour lines and a clored slice, but the isocontour lines don't match with the colored slices limits. Can anyone help me? Rainer, What happens if you try to display the topo before you put any data? Hi,
I am trying to use a topography file TOPOSA.TOPO which represents most
parts of Chile at a resolution of 30 sec. When looking at it using the
"topoinfo" command, I get the following message:
Topo file: TOPOSA.TOPO
North bound: -18 deg
South bound: -46 deg
West bound: -75 deg
East bound: -67 deg
Rows: 3361
Columns: 961
min height: 0 meters
max height: 6795 meters
% water flags: 38
To me it seems that its format is alright. However, when using it,
displaying my data I only get a white/gray surface without any
topography.
Using the v5dinfo command for my data I get the following message:
File format: v5d version: 4.3
Compression: 1 byte per gridpoint.

Hi, I have a grads data set with both 2d and 3d variables over several timesteps. I would like to select 1 2d variable at 1 time. So I run v5dimport -t grads.ctl >omit all >keep var PRECIP >keep timestep 1 >make tmp.v5d >quit and what I get output is 12 times larger than it should be (the size of a 3d variable.) I have traced the problem to the function find_min_max_heights is analyze_i.c and believe that the line if(g->SelectBits==ALL_BITS) either should be if(g->SelectBits|ALL_BITS) or should not be there at all. Does anyone understand the original intent of this statement? What am I breaking by making this change? By the way , the gui interface does the same thing. (Select None, Select Variable , Select timestep, make) Thanks, Jim |
