Abstract
La presente solicitudse relaciona en parte con Cry34Ab/35Ab en combinacion con Cry6Aa, para prevenir el desarrollo de resistencia (a cualquier sistema de proteína insecticida solo) por una poblacion de gusano de raíz de maíz (Diabrotica spp.). Se incluyen dentro de la presente solicitud plantas que producen las proteínas Cry insecticidas, que son utiles para mitigar la preocupacion de que una poblacion de gusanos de la raíz del maíz podría desarrollarse de manera que resistiría cualquiera de los sistemas de proteína insecticidas solos. Las plantas (y superficie en acres cultivadas con dichas plantas) que producen estos dos sistemas de proteína insecticidas se incluyen dentro del alcance de la presente solicitud. La presente solicitud también se relaciona en parte con combinaciones de proteínas Cry34Ab/35Ab y Cry6Aa ôtriplemente apiladasö con una proteína Cry6Aa. Las plantas transgénicas con inclusion del maíz, que comprenden un gen cry6Aa y genes cry34Ab/35Ab se incluyen dentro del alcance de la presente solicitud.
