More Around The Place

Today more tree planting.

Afternoon beer break around the fire pit.

Plenty of trees to trim here on the farm.
Think we have enough wood for the fire pit?

Around the farm

Old iron (art?)

The coop needs painting.  Again.

Henry and Doug the Pug.  RIP.

Around the place.

That's it for more around the place.

Around The Farm

Around the farm today (solitude and reflection continued).

Took down an old Cedar Tree.

Saved the main section to be cut into planks for our woodworking son.  Should make a nice table top.

And we are still planting trees.

Solitude and reflection here on the farm,

while America goes to hell in a handbasket.

Two-Faced Bastards

"My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed."

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's dying wish.

Within two hours of the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, six weeks before the presidential election, Sen. Mitch McConnell vowed in a statement that President Donald Trump’s nominee to replace her would receive a Senate vote.

It’s a markedly different approach than he took in the previous presidential election year of 2016, when a different Supreme Court justice died more than eight months before voters went to the polls to choose President Barack Obama’s successor.

Senator Lindsay Graham, who will oversee the vetting of the nomination as Judiciary chairman, tweeted Saturday that he will support Trump "in any effort to move forward regarding the recent vacancy created by the passing of Justice Ginsburg.”

Graham's comment contradicts his statements in 2018 and 2016 that a Supreme Court nominee should not be considered in an election year.

The facts and evidence is clear.  Putting common ethics aside, these are two dirty rotten two-faced bastards who deserve to be removed from office.  Their actions are indefensible.

The contrast is staggering.  In 2016 they held up President Obama's Supreme Court nominee for eight months.  With 44 days to the election they have now decided that precedent is meaningless and are going to ram moron-in-chief trump's nominee through.

Two-faced rotten unethical bastards who are intent on flushing democracy down the toilet.

A Loss For America

Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who served on the Supreme Court since 1993 and who crusaded for women’s rights before that, died on Friday at the age of 87.

Ginsburg died from complications of cancer, according to the Supreme Court. She died Friday evening surrounded by her family at her home in Washington.

Trump Wins Delay in Handover of Tax Returns to Manhattan Prosecutor

NEW YORK - A U.S. appeals court on Tuesday granted President Donald Trump's request to delay Manhattan's district attorney from accessing his tax returns in connection with a criminal probe of his business practices.

The unsigned order by a panel of the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan was a victory for the president in his yearlong quest to block District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. from enforcing a grand jury subpoena for eight years of personal and corporate returns.

Trump has been challenging an Aug. 20 decision by U.S. District Judge Victor Marrero to let Vance obtain the returns from the president's longtime accounting firm Mazars USA.

Well asshat, your "audit" story is fake.

What are you hiding??
