Definitions
- the invention relates to a mammography device with a compression plate and a stage.
- Mammography devices are specially designed X-ray devices.
- the mammography device therefore has an X-ray emitter and an X-ray detector, which are usually mounted on a tripod unit of the mammography device.
- a compression device comprising a compression plate and a stage are usually arranged between the X-ray radiator and the X-ray detector.
- the object table is used to deposit an object to be examined, in a mammogram of a human, usually a female breast, and the compression device, in particular the compression plate, is used to compress the female breast.
- Pati ⁇ ent is sitioned usually standing in front of the mammography device po-.
- the patient to be examined breast is arranged on the stage such that it is carrying out an exposure beam in the region of the outgoing from Ront genstrahler ⁇ X-rays. From the projection of the breast tissue using X-rays, insights into the condition of the breast tissue can be gained.
- mammography is of great importance in medical technology in the conduct of preventive examinations, in particular breast cancer screening, as well as for the detection of calcification in the female breast.
- the patient's mammographic examination is generally considered uncomfortable. Standing during the entire study of Pa ⁇ tienten leads to a further burden on the patient.
- the invention has for its object to provide a generic Mammographievor ⁇ chtung of the type mentioned, by means of which a mammogram examination of a patient can be made more pleasant.
- the object is achieved by a mammography device and a compression plate and a stage, with a device for positioning a patient in a sitting posture, wherein the patient positioning device has a seat surface, wherein the seat surface is positi ⁇ onierbar that a breast of a patient to be examined th on an object table can be arranged and by means of a
- Compression plate is compressible. By keeping a seated posture while performing mammography and positioning the breast, the patient is relieved while at the same time facilitating the positioning and fixation of the breast required to perform the mammographic exam. As a result of the improved fixability of the patient, movement artifacts whose cause lies in the movement of the patient during the execution of the radiation exposure can also be reduced or avoided.
- Such a seated posture of the patient when performing the mammography and the positioning of the breast is particularly advantageous when performing a biopsy or when performing a tomosynthesis.
- a sedentary posture can be beneficial for an arbitrarily designed mammography examination vorgese ⁇ hen.
- the seat surface of the patient positioning device preferably has substantially the dimensions of a seating surface of a seated patient.
- the Aufsetzflache the sit ⁇ includes, as a rule the Gesdorfbau Switzerland and usually an outgoing leg from the buttocks of the patient approach the patient.
- a patient's sitting posture is characterized by the fact that a significant portion of the patient's body weight is carried by his buttocks. Depending on the specific configuration of the sitting posture, the proportion of the weight that is truncated by the buttocks may vary. However, in the context of this application, the sitting posture should also include a squatting posture of the patient in which the patient, for example, assumes a crouching posture with his knees pulled up, and is relieved, for example, of a stabilization device.
- the seat has a height to be determined by a floor, wel ⁇ che is adjustable.
- the patient positioning device can be used for patients of different body sizes or adapted to the body size of the respective patient. This increases the flexibility of the mammography device and increases the number of patients that can be examined.
- the seat surface has an inclination relative to a floor whose amount is adjustable.
- the positioning of the thorax which is as close as possible to the object table, can be difficult, provided that no adjustable inclination of the seat surface is possible.
- a simplification for the patient results precisely from the fact that a tilt of the seat is individually adjustable for the patient. This allows the patient to lay his chest on the stage without much effort, with the chest as close to the stage as possible.
- the seat is slidably and / or rotatably mounted relative to the stage.
- the seat surface By means of a plurality of translational and rotational degrees of freedom of movement of the seat surface relative to the object table, it is possible to set any distance between the seat surface and the object table or any orientation relative to the object table.
- the displacement and / or rotation of the seat surface of the relief device thus allows relative to the object table an adjustment of the seat position to the requirements of Mammogra- phieuntersuchung as well to the anatomy of the patient.
- different viewing directions of the patient on the patient positioning device can be realized or specific distances to the X-ray beam region can be maintained, which extends between X-ray emitter and X-ray detector.
- the patient positioning device has a backrest that is adjustable in its inclination. This allows the patient in addition to experience through the back of a supporting force, which helps them, during the implementation of the Mammography examination to maintain position.
- the patient positioning device comprises a predominantlyunstersteins announced.
- the Stammunterstutzungsemraum serves on the one hand to park the foot of the patient, especially in small-sized patients, who would otherwise no longer reach the ground after positioning the breast on the stage.
- a towardsablageflache be provided.
- the neutrunterstutzungsemraum can be designed such that it can be loaded with a large part of the body weight of the patient.
- the foot support device can also serve to be able to more easily comply with the patient's position to be observed during mammography.
- the footrest device can preferably be adjusted to the anatomy, for example the leg length, of a patient or to a body position desired by the patient.
- the object table and / or the patient positioning ⁇ device at least one Greifein ⁇ chtung.
- the gripping device serves to enable the patient to attack a designated device during the passage of the mammogram and thus to be able to support his / her position taken.
- the Greifein ⁇ chtung can to ver ⁇ applies, will, for example. Can approach to raise the stage to take a required Liehe for the implementation of mammography position.
- Gripping device can be arranged on the object table and / or on the patient positioning device.
- the gripping device and / or the explicatunsterstungsemcardi at least partially on a Haf ⁇ tion-supporting surface.
- the adhesion can, for example, by attacking a human hand on the gripping direction or at the personallyunterstutzungsein ⁇ chtung done by taking off a bare or clad foot.
- the engagement of the Greifein ⁇ chtung or off of a foot on the contemplatunterstutzungsein ⁇ chtung should preferably be controlled only by the patient, and not by the edge ⁇ conditions - be empoundt loading a large extent - for example by slipping off by a smooth, slippery surface of the gripping device.
- the counselunterstutzungsemoplasty may have a surface, which is a liability of an object
- the Greifein ⁇ chtung and / or the counselstutzungsemcardi may have a Keimment inhibiting coating to prevent transmission of germs as possible.
- the position and / or the position of a gripping device are adjustable.
- the gripping device can be adjusted to the requirements of the patient.
- a gripping device designed as a handle can be moved translato ⁇ c and / or rotationally relative to the object table and / or for positioning the patient.
- the handle can, for example, be arranged at a specific distance from the breastbone of the patient in a horizontal position, vertical position or an intermediate position.
- the position can be adjusted in such a way as seems most comfortable to the Pa ⁇ tienten.
- the distance is the arm length and / or the fuselage length of the patient customizable.
- a gripping device which can be adjusted in its position and / or position can be detected in a specific position and / or position.
- locking means can be provided, in particular a parking brake.
