1,208,630. Suspending curtains. W. F. SMITH. 18 Sept., 1969 [18 Sept., 1968], No. 44358/68. Heading A4B. A curtain suspension comprises a rail 1, runners 5 making sliding contact over upper and lower flanges 3, 4 of the rail 1 and curtain hooks 14 each having a pin portion 13 engaging a runner at two vertically spaced apart locations by passage through apertures 12 in parts 10 of the runner 5. At least one runner 5 may be E-shaped with a central arm 7 received in a dovetail channel 2 in the rail 1. A drawcord may be secured in a bore 19 in the arm 7.
