Abstract

1379361 Suspending curtains M H GASS 18 Jan 1973 [21 Jan 1972 26 Dec 1972] 2743/73 Heading A4B A one-piece curtain hanger of moulded plastics comprises a stem 21 provided on one side with a downwardly-open, runner engaging hook 30 and on its opposite side with an adjacent clamping leg 25 connected to the stem 21 by an upper end bight 22, the clamping leg 25 having a series of integral teeth 27 directed towards the stem 21. The teeth may comprise two series 27A, 27B with bases disposed on opposite sides of a medial plane and tips in the medial plane. Teeth may also be provided on the stem and directed towards the clamping leg. The clamping leg may be of equal or shorter length than the stem and the free end of the clamping leg 25 may be pointed, as at 26, or blunt. A metal reinforcing strip 88, 89, Fig.14, may be embedded in the hanger.
