Abstract
<p>La invención se relaciona con compuestos de éteres de arilo de Fórmula I</p> <p>ESPACIO PARA FÓRMULA I</p> <p>o una sal farmacéuticamente aceptable del mismo preparada a partir de una base inorgánica, base orgánica, base inorgánica, base orgánica, ácido inorgánico o ácido orgánica, donde: R1; R2; R3; R4; y R5 son como se definen en el pliego reivindicatorio.</p> <p>Dichos compuestos de fórmula I son capaces de modular la actividad del factor 2 alfa inducible por hipoxia (HIF-2alfa), una proteína que juega un papel importante en la vía de respuesta hipóxica en tumores. Esta vía es una fuerza impulsora para la progresión del cáncer. De esta manera, los compuestos de fórmula I de la presente invención son útiles en el tratamiento del cáncer, tal como en el tratamiento del carcinoma celular renal.</p>
