Abstract
Un método para producir una solución de LiOH a partir de una mezcla que contiene Li y una o más impurezas. El método incluye alimentar la mezcla a una celda de ED que contiene una membrana selectiva de iones y aplicar una diferencia de potencial a la membrana selectiva de iones para obtener una solución de LiOH separada, en la que la solución de LiOH separada contiene LiOH, aproximadamente de 0 a 3 ppm de Mg y aproximadamente 0 a aproximadamente 5 ppm de Ca. Un sistema configurado para producir LiOH a partir de una mezcla que contiene Li y una o más impurezas.
