Abstract
La presente solicitud proporciona composiciones para usar para mejorar el control de malezas. Específicamente, la presente proporciona métodos y composiciones que modulan acetolactato sintasa en especies de malezas. La presente solicitud también proporciona combinaciones de composiciones y métodos que mejoran el control de malezas. Reivindicación 1: Un método de control de plantas que comprende: tratamiento de una planta con una composición que comprende un polinucleótido y un agente de transferencia, en donde dicho polinucleótido es esencialmente idéntico o esencialmente complementario a una secuencia génica de ALS o su fragmento o a un transcripto de ARN de dicha secuencia génica de ALS o su fragmento, en donde dicha secuencia génica de ALS está seleccionada del grupo que consiste en SEQ ID Nº 1 - 45 y 1692 - 1788 o su fragmento de polinucleótido, en donde dicho crecimiento o desarrollo de la planta o capacidad reproductiva se reduce o dicha planta es más sensible a un herbicida inhibidor de ALS respecto a una planta no tratada con dicha composición.
