Abstract
En el presente documento se desvelan polinucleótidos obtenidos a partir de viroides para la modificación de plantas y métodos de uso de dichos polinucleótidos en una diversidad de métodos agrícolas y comerciales; específicamente, la divulgación proporciona un método de suministro a una planta de una composición que comprende un polinucleótido recombinante que comprende: (i) una secuencia de viroide de ARN monocatenario (ARNmc) y (ii) una secuencia de ARN heteróloga que comprende o codifica un efector, en donde el efector tiene un efecto biológico sobre la planta, y en donde el viroide es el viroide del tubérculo fusiforme de la patata (PSTVd) o el viroide latente de la berenjena (ELVd).
