Abstract
La presente invencion se relaciona con un método para la produccion de un catalizador o precatalizador adecuado para asistir en la produccion de alquenil alcanoatos. El método incluye poner en contacto un precursor de modificador con un material de soporte para formar un material de soporte modificado. Se puede poner en contacto uno o más componentes precursores catalíticos (paladioy/u oro) con el material de soporte modificado. La relacion atomica de oro a paladio está preferentemente en el rango de aproximadamente 0,3 a aproximadamente 0,90. A continuacion se pueden reducir los materiales de soporte con el componente catalítico utilizando un entorno reductor. También se incluye dentro de la presente invencion una composicion para catalizar la produccion de un alquenil alcanoato que incluye un material de soporte modificado con paladio y oro. Los catalizadores de la presente invencion pueden utilizarse para producir alquenil alcanoatos en general y vinil acetato en particular, y son utiles para producir bajas relaciones EA/VA manteniendo o mejorando al mismo tiempo la selectividad de CO2.
