Wait, Katekyo Hitman Reborn is 20 years old?! Forgive my words, but what the fuck? I didn't think it was this old hahaha. I also want to see the final two arcs getting animated as Enma is one of my favorite characters - I love his clumsiness and his friendship with Tsuna. Still, I would not object if it were a whole remake, though I think it is quite improbable. Still, I agree with you, I am happy they are doing a remake as this series is one of my favorites, and deserves more attention.

Oh, I see, so you wanted to avoid dependence on the medicine. It makes sense, and it is quite a responsible decision not to get used to them. If I am not wrong, the body gets used to the dosage, and you will need to increase it, so not wanting to be dependent on it is a good decision.

I have heard for a long time that dark chocolate is one of the best alternatives, as it is way healthier and more similar to the real cacao. It isn't that sweet, but it has its benefits. Don't get me wrong, but you are quite mature on all of this, you truly decided to embrace the changes and adapt to them - I have a relative who is also diabetic, and the difference in the way you adapted to them is completely different.

Fried chicken isn't common in my country. I think the only restaurant that sells it is KFC, but I have never been to it. I love burgers and pizza, whether I prepare them myself or buy them. I cannot imagine how hard it was to cut them off; as a threat once a month, they are really enjoyable. Still, reading this about fruit hurts a lot. I love eating fruit; I cannot imagine tracking them also. It pains me to think about it.

I want to ask something out of curiosity. I enjoy drinking from time to time. How much do you need to mind alcohol and cigarettes if you like them?

I have never seen guavas in my country, like, for real, nobody sells them hahaha. Pineapple, kiwi, bananas, apples, and oranges are very common. I eat lots of them throughout the year. I am aware of the nutritional benefits, but not that they also help while working out; that is quite a revelation for me. I love fruits, that is something I can tell - bananas and honeydew melon are my favorites.

You know, I've been thinking this for a while: it's crazy how technically vegan products are right, we don't need meat or animal-based products to live, and while they are helpful, there are variations and other stuff that can replace them. But, you touch the most important point there: going full vegan can be quite expensive. I have seen the difference between regular products and vegan products, and there is a big difference in price between them.

Oh, are you from India? Not that it matters, I just realized it. I am curious about soya, I want to taste it; I don't know why, but the fact that in cartoons and shows, so many people hate it makes me want to taste it hahaha. Is it bad that it is a fiber bomb? I love prawns; they are one of my favorite foods. We eat them at home as much as possible, especially on empanadas; I love fish as well, but I hate the sharp bones. Personally, I am quite picky about chicken, but eggs are a must. Mutton or lamb meat is not that common here, I am not the biggest fan if I am honest.

I just did a quick search about food with fiber, and all that is supposed to be healthy is there, like legumes, almonds, brown rice, and oatmeal. Do you really need to take care of them as well? Like, I do what you say, I eat them to avoid feeling cravings or when I don't want to eat something too heavy.
Which type of cooking oil do you use? Is there a specific one? Can it be the regular one?
I used to like Takis a lot, but for some reason, I am not that into them anymore; I bought a bag months ago, and they didn't feel right. Chips can be addictive indeed, especially when a new flavor appears, and you want to know how they will be hahaha; I am sure there are some mustard-honey canned chips that I've been curious about for years to try. Still, replacing them with peanuts or almonds sounds better on the long way.
I've been curious about starting to take magnesium, as I have heard it does wonders.

I never heard of paneer shimla mirch sabji before; it looks so good! I am definitely saving this recipe. I looked up about dal and shimla mirch. I think I caught the gist of what they are and how to make them.
I have never measured the macros before, but it does seem like something quite important of learning.
Also, that food weighing machine looks quite helpful. I will see if I can find one.

Oh no, I work up a few days on the month, but I do enjoy going out to walk daily. I like playing Pokémon Go, and I tried to at least walk 1-3 Km every day.
I live in a fairly small house, and I don't have much equipment aside from some weights. I want to buy some equipment, but the space is not on my side. Your daily routine schedule is quite convincing and varied. I will save it as well to adapt it to myself.

I did go to a gym regularly when I was in high school, but I didn't have the best experience. It was a gym in my town, and the people here are the worst. I arrived when I was in 5th grade, and I swear it is almost a cult; like, you needed to be born here or have almost all of your relatives here to be part. The coach at the gym wasn't a nice person. She sold her act well in the first days, and then ignored me completely. Hence, I prefer to exercise at home.
Oh yeah, barbell squats are one of those exercises you need to do with some help or proper equipment; I still remember a video of a girl from my country who got beheaded doing barbell squats - the weight felt on her neck and crushed it.

Don't worry, I am not planning to start with candito. I am sure it would be quite hard; I read about the program, and it does sound demanding. I already tried working on something I wasn't prepared to do by myself at the gym in the past, and it wasn't nice.

Thank you very much for all the advice and examples you gave me throughout the message. It does seem like you have become quite knowledgeable. I don't have diabetes, but I am aware that it can happen even to people who took care of their health from day one, so I am glad to have some ideas and even recipes.
Again, thank you very much :)

I want to be honest, at the time I am writing this, I am a bit drunk, so I apologize in advance if something sounds unserious or insensitive.

Before going into the message, I know you have Tsuna in your favorite characters. Did you hear about the new animation for Katekyo Hitman Reborn? I am so excited about it! Another friend and I are wondering if it's going to be a full remake or an animation for the final two arcs of the manga.

Oh, your cholesterol was high indeed; I had it at +190, but with the medicine, it decreased quite drastically. I really don't know what to say. What did you feel when they told you that number? I feel so bad.
Feeling the medicine is not working is a feeling I have experienced a lot of times, and it sucks so much. Like, you spent money on it, and nothing happened?

Changes are hard to adapt to; they are like following a study schedule as a student, hahaha.

Leaving junk food was the best decision, and it is horribly hard. The supermarket in my town has some periods where everything is on sale, and it can be hard to ignore. I tried not to eat more than a bag of something a month, but the COVID pandemic made it hard to leave the Takis - for some reason, I don't like them anymore.
What kind of deep-fried food? It is hard to let go of cakes, but if you have found healthy replacements, then that is a huge victory. They may be processed, but baby steps are still steps.

Oh, so this didn't happen in the span of some months ago; it was almost a year ago, if not longer. I hope you weren't alone in all of these. I can see how impactful and scary it may have been. What falls into the category of damaging? I have some ideas, but I would like some confirmation. Also, can you eat fruits? I know they have sugar on them, but they are supposed to be healthy. Is it something like large quantities could also be damaging?

Forgive me for asking, is Fiber bad? How do you measure it? I know this may sound ridiculous, but going vegan can be helpful, or you need to balance everything. What do you eat when it comes to fat? I know it may need to be meat, but I am aware some are quite harmful as well, such as lamb.

I have heard Magnesium does wonders for the body and mind. I've been thinking about starting to take it.

Forgive me, but BRO split sounds so funny; it sounds like the bro buddies from meme videos. 1.5 to 2.5 hrs does sound impressive. I imagine this has been quite helpful in lots of ways. Ugh, I hate gym crowds; it can be a bit stressful.
Can you do the Barbell Squat and Deadlift on your own? In the sense of doing it alone. Those exercises sound like something it may be better to do with someone next to you. My mom has a friend from many years ago, even before I was born, who has diabetes; she passed out in the middle of her kitchen and broke both of her arms. Not trying to add more stress, but quite a bit is concerning.

Yeah, ChatGPT does provide good advice, routines, and receipts hahaha. I never heard of Candito's 6-week program. I will check it out; it may be interesting to start something new. I can picture in my head how annoying fatigue must be. I am sorry if this sounds dumb, but is there something you can do about it, or the moment it starts, you need to stop exercising immediately?

I've been so lazy with my manga readings; I haven't started anything lately, aside from that, I have a lot of ongoing series. I want to continue reading Oyasumi Punpun, but I've been reading more books and watching anime.
Ok, I think the manga that has captivated me a lot so far are:
-Kono Oto Tomare.
-Will you marry me again if you are Reborn?
-Haikyuu.
-Houseki no Kuni.
Sure, if you want to share with me your routines and exercises, I will gladly read them; as I mentioned above, it may be nice to start something new.

I am glad to hear your health has been recovering; I cannotstart thinking how stressful all of this must have been. Which changes have you had to make?

Numbers can be really scary indeed. I took a blood test last year, and my cholesterol was in the clouds; I am taking the medicine the doctor recommended to me, and it has decreased a lot. I personally believe in medication, but I understand and respect if you didn't feel comfortable taking it. I am well aware some of them do more harm than healing; it's because of it that I discovered I had quite a bad allergy to Metamizole. Making dietary changes can be hard, but after a while, you get used to it and go with it like it's nothing.
I am really happy to read that you are feeling great and have been feeling better with your improvement.

How much weight are you lifting? Mentally, it helps a lot, like, you get tired, and you don't overthink, not to mention the physical improvement. If it becomes fun, then it becomes easier to keep on doing it. I got into taking long walks while also playing Pokémon Go, hahaha, and that has helped me a lot.

I am not that interested in Fire Force. I tried liking it, but the first season didn't convince me, and I didn't finish watching it. I honestly liked Umineko a lot. I am aware the anime was an adaptation from a visual novel, and the fans who played the game weren't convinced. How is the manga?
Last year, I was quite lazy with reading manga, like, I read them months later after catching up. I am currently trying to read Oyasumi Punpun and Angel Densetsu.
Hazbyn Feb 8, 9:07 PM
Oh no, I am so sorry to hear that. I cannot even start to think about how sad it must have been to receive that news. I am not very sure what the serious numbers mean, but if they are the ones saying how much of something is in your blood, with what the correct amount is next to it, then I think I kind of know.
You had to leave to do your work? It sounds like things were way worse than what I thought. What is remission in this context? I am glad to hear you are feeling better, and I hope it continues like that.

I do enjoy reading fighting manga from time to time, especially if they are tournaments or something related. I will try to give Red Blue a try.

By the way, are you watching something this season?
Hazbyn Feb 1, 6:30 PM
I never heard of Red Blue and After God before; the second one looks really interesting, though. I was a bit lazy with manga during 2025, so I may give it a chance.

Medical recovery? What happened? I can infer it was something serious if it required physical recovery.
Hazbyn Jan 1, 8:46 PM
2025 was an exhausting year in lots of different ways, so I tried to have a good celebration for Christmas and New Year, and it worked. I was the one in charge of preparing the menu for Christmas this year, and it was a hit hahaha.

I watched a lot of anime this year as well, from seasonals and out of them as well; I found some good gems, and others that weren't the best.
What about you? Have you watched or read something entertaining?
