I'm a little busy with college, so I'll write more later... But damn I really have to let out my disappointed about the last chapter lol.
Kinda spoiler if you haven't read last chapter

Yeah and even if it was 2deep4u, at most it's madhouse being disingenuous and selling it as such XP like that opening scene from the the last ep is something they added to make it more mystery like even if it's kind of dumb lol the clock tower bit was just trashy cringe considering the whole portrayal (through actions) of the different perceptions of time is asinine XD

The kaiki VA with the jarring tone shifts makes the whole thing bizarre XD Weird blob humour+more pouting, demons attack, weird leisurely mentorship program while getting ambushed. THey had that nasty crotch outline thing last season with the mimic chest, which felt like some kind of labia swelling lol for the butt sticking bit i saw this comment saying elfblob should've farted there, but would have been a hilariously good fit with the electra-ish-yuribait complex thing :P

In that aspect.. yeh they never fail to deliver.. :3

A solid 1/10 for Frieren.. that might be fair.. I swear we keep watching this shit for some reason.. maybe only Himmel knows why

Waiting for his next asspull that demons could turn into monsters all along. When you are doing whatever you want and yet achieving nothing in worldbuilding, you can't do inconsistent worldbuilding XD yeah and I was thinking the ep starting bit was them speculating that a snake critter something was moving along the battlefield though idk which part of the deduction that'll go into haha, maybe it was just their artistic rendition of the flashback to make the demon feel dangerous or he can shapeshift completely into a snake from his half human half snake body. also lol @ the deduction. Bizarrely trashy how badly everything is put together even if individually they seem ok.

ikr, If only they made frieren into an amoeba with that spirit, though a shapeless blob comes close too.

I was okay till they had those shamans in suit demons but I guess the author realised the demons were getting really boring as of late :P needs an edit, whether it fits or not. Wonder if the snakeman is his shapeshifted form, he's there at the start of that ep combating the folk lol

Oh i meant it starts to look more like a comedy with fri, fern, and starc as MCs and that's the cartoon villain for the arc up there lol

lmfao shingeki no moeblob. The cringe is over the charts, like it's more overwrought than the music with the ancient deity feel and I recall the church and the windmill opened into an enclosed atrium :'P

Really true, think it might serve them well to do away with the music altogether every now and then, here and there lol. I heard yesterday ep 6 onwards has the fight with some demon and expanded cast (the people they met on the way), so maybe you'll suffer less starting next ep. I think the term you used at first: aura farming is kind of the most accurate one here XD no other description or wording comes close considering its trashiness.

Lmfaoooooo i mean is he wrong? that's what himmel would do...if he could :'( the NTR plot is thickening (gsar is also writing frieren NTR fanfic btw). I think their reactions and puffed cheeks work better with these trashy memes than with being wholesome.

That's the thing i was thinking earlier too, it doesn't at all feel like it has a proper tone set down, the music is overwrought and i don't know anymore if it's intentional soulless corpo calculation to sell it. The second half of the show, it doesn't even feel like the company and its struggles have any weight in that world with the way they send frieren to hit a silver vein after talking about 1/3rd of them being wiped out. The whole ep felt like a fever dream even by elfblob standards.

That stark and fern bit has such an annoying cringe feel XD nice meme collection, I was just speculating you must have a few stored up. I like the "draw me like one of your moe blobs" and and NTR ice cream one the most haha.
also lmao fernkastel oddly fits btw, it does look like it could come out of umineko. Though another funny thing, i feel that the original blobby umineko artwork had more personality to the designs than fern, frieren, green hair slasher and co.
