Oh my, by director of Strike Witches? Now that's a name I have not heard in a long time.

As long as it has nice animation and story (hopefully), I could always ignore the fanservice scenes :)

will wait until it comes out to see what it's about?

@Ex-Arm join the united nations on banning japan with sexualizing minors like lolicon and shotacon then like vote with your wallet and do cancel culture of this kind of shows

How exactly is an arse shot of a school girl remotely captivating? Sorry, i’m not a PDF like the decent of chunk of the anime community. Japan gets away with this stuff too often.

I'm just hoping there's no CGI mecha. Everything else is secondary to that right now.

@Rom-Com_lover Yes. Just admit you're a casual and have no idea who the director even is.

@Geark77 It's more a question of "I like this" and "I don't like this" than a real discourse about clichés. So I think people should be more free to talk about their tastes without trying to "explain" them.

The fact that she's giving everybody a show in this promo art is probably going to garner a lot of viewers. 🤣

Might be the funniest promo poster I've ever seen lol

>original anime
>upskirt shot held in the YOUTUBE TEASER for 3 seconds
Yeah I'm locked in already, anime is saved bros.

@RobertBobert Imagine these kinds of shows get churned out every season just like isekai, are those people gonna call every single one of them masterpiece?

Mar 20, 4:20 PM by Geark77

@Kougeru The discussion was about cliches in general, including old ones whose peak use has already passed. I don't think that things that have already become clichés stop being so just because the industry has overdosed on them and abandoned.

Mar 20, 3:28 PM by RobertBobert

@RobertBobert I feel like we're in disagreement about what a "cliche" is. This type of anime is very rare today

this ass is begging me to ogle it, it's actually a pretty nice ass

Mar 20, 2:25 PM by Catalano

@Rom-Com_lover With all due respect you have an anime in your favorites where a woman vomits on a male's mouth for pure shock value with zero plot value or creativity and now the panty shot shocks you and you think it is unnecessary? Seriously?

@AnimadoHAHA obviously nudity, right?

If I remember well, Ayakashi Triangle and Virgin Punk (not the YT version) had nudity. Maybe a case were the director chose to leave out?

@EcchiGodMamster You literally started by complaining that isekai has mainstream tropes and therefore its bad, while ecchi is an old trope and therefore good.

ok, now that i've read just this, i don't need to read the rest.... its no fucking wonder i've wasted my time responding to you

no i fucking didn't

I NEVER SAID THAT

me mentioning the late 2000s/early 2010s has nothing to do with "ecchi tropes" OR isekai tropes for that matter

this is why i keep saying you're putting words in my mouth

go away

@EcchiGodMamster You literally started by complaining that isekai has mainstream tropes and therefore its bad, while ecchi is an old trope and therefore good. But when I asked you several times whether you would stop loving ecchi just as much if it returned to being a basic mainstream trope, you simply refused to answer again and again. However, avoiding an answer in this case is already an answer in itself.

I asked you directly why this wasn't a problem in the 00s, which you also indirectly acknowledged by calling the strong emphasis on ecchi "a throwback to the 00s." However, as I see it, you, just like in the past, simply refuse to discuss things that lead you to thoughts you don't want to comprehend, so I'll just stop this and ignore your latest complaints about isekai in the future. Because it's pointless from the start.
