Sayonara Lara is based on The Little Mermaid and follows a mermaid who wishes to be loved by a human. After her death, she is reincarnated 200 years later in modern day Japan in Lake Biwa. | Ah yes, the three idiots. The additional staff list makes me even more hopeful for this anime. Art director of Sonny Boy and Dororo... Also, now that I think about it, a lot of the people on this have worked on Made In Abyss; because, well, it's Kinema Citrus. I feel like that experience would probably transfer to this show, which might not be too different in terms of atmosphere. Also, Deep Sea Image Designer MON... The fact that there is a dedicated "Deep Sea Image Designer" at all makes me excited for what is to come. Their art is super cool and sometimes very freaky too, which I would imagine is perfect for a Deep Sea Image Designer. |
