Supporting Cast Pair for 'Seihantai na Kimi to Boku' Announced
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Koucha Agasawa's Seihantai na Kimi to Boku (You and I Are Polar Opposites) manga announced a supporting pair of cast on Sunday. The anime began airing on January 11 every Sunday at 5:00 p.m. on MBS and TBS across 28 stations nationwide.
Takakazu Nagatomo (Shoushimin Series episode director) is helming the anime at Lapin Track. Teruko Utsumi (Sarazanmai) is handling the series composition as well as overseeing the production. Mako Miyako is the character designer, while Tofubeats (Hokkyoku Hyakkaten no Concierge-san) is composing the music.
Agasawa originally drew the romantic comedy manga on the Shounen Jump+ web magazine as a one-shot in January 2021 before beginning regular serialization in May 2022. The manga ended its over 3.5 year-run with 65 chapters in November 2024. Shueisha published the eighth and final volume in March 2025.
Shueisha's Manga Plus platform began publishing the chapters in English in June 2022. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in October 2023 and published the seventh volume in November 2025, with the eighth volume scheduled for release on February 3.
