| That finale next week is going to move mountains. Love all the Nagumo and Niikura focus this week though, the horse betting and nose fight skits being the best part. Poor Niikura was over there fighting for her life lmao. The whole city being on suicide watch after their betting slips got chalked with all those disqualifications is so real. Average FanDuel betting experience lmao. Horse betting requires way too much luck compared to the NBA, NFL and European football stuff tho so I wouldn’t touch. That’s for real degenerate working men who spend half their checks on betting slips. How tf did they let a goddamn gazelle get in the arena tho lmao World peace and a happy life are both great wishes. It’d be hilarious if that shooting star actually ends up being an alien recurring cast member. Turning them in would get Nagumo and Niikura all the money they need lmao |

| The first half showcased the worst of Arawi's sense of comedy. Not a single laugh, though the cloud of losing tickets was amusing. It got better from Ecchan on but I've gotten a little disillusioned with the series since its first half. |

| Wako enjoys all of her waking moment unlike Niikura and Nagumo. Wako's just chill like that. I wish I could be like her. Ah. The photo contest. I nearly forgot about that. Is that the same contest they took part it near the beginning of the season? Or were there other ones? Either way, surprising to see Nagumo of all people win it. Wonder if she actually shared her prize. Woah. The pendant makes a return. And Niikura was actually able to get it? I'm not exactly sure what happened at the end there. That mystical creature from last episode showed up (didn't think it was as big as a man) and Niikura punched the shit out of it. That was crazy. I wasn't expecting such a mundane ending to this plotline. I thought Nagumo would somehow find out what's in the pendant for sure. Looks like that isn't going to happen anytime soon. The horse racing bit was hilarious. They didn't show the actual race but the commentary and people's reactions told you everything. The last "horse" being a gazelle was a twist I didn't see coming lol. The short Ecchan and Matsuri bit was also so good. I prefer it when things are simpler like this. Wish they had more screentime. The drinking bit was weird. Maybe it's cause I'm not that old and I have no interest in drinking. Lmao what was that post-credits scene? Was Izumi controlling that "UFO" somehow? Anyway, I really love the Nagumo Niikura Wako trio. They're the heart of this series and episodes like this where they're the focus and have a lot of screentime are usually the best. Only one episode left. I hope it's going to be good. |

| I don't know, the only part that I found funny were the old men drinking and that little scene after the credits. Niikura is so weird, she is funny, and sometimes cute, but she is also really fucking insane, she feels the most "Nichijou character" here, but the thing is, this is NOT Nichijou, because as much as this show is amazing, it doesn't come close to Nichijou, so that makes Niikura's crazy segments end up feeling kinda uncomfortable to watch. I still really like her tho. |

| Nagumo won the competition, and they agreed on splitting the prize equally. Niikura finally found her pendant. Her fight against the unknown creature was commendable. All this time, she was hitting the wrong place. LOL. I love her so much. I felt her desperation there in that moment. She needed that 100 yen coin badly. "This is Life" Raises hand... The dramatic horse racing losing reaction was hilarious. Ecchan, my daughter, wanted to do everything she used to do one more time before she leaves for overseas. Ecchan and Matsuri's friendship has been my favorite thing in this adaptation so far. I love them so much. It's so sad to see them separate like this. The main trio's wish from the star was cute as well. Next week, we'll have the last episode of the show, and I'm going to miss it a lot. |

Luck is opposite of Nagumo as always. She tries to play smart with photo contest but still took an L somehow. No more Ecchan😭😭 I was prepared and it was handled really well still I am heartbroken😭😭 |
| The highs and lows of betting for your favourite "horse" to win a race was one of many highlights in this episode. It was hilarious seeing how many people, Nagumo included, having their emotions go through one extreme to the other and then back again. As for Niikura, her battle against the mysterious nose creature while classical music was playing in the background is another pinnacle of the random, but amusing comedy that CITY has to offer. At the very least, she did get her pendant back, do all's well that ends well! It might've gotten a short segment, but Ecchan having one last blast around the CITY and reliving her favourite moments on her own was touching, especially so when she chatted to her best friend, Matsuri, for a little bit. I don't think I'll be ready for Ecchan's departure next time. Her friendship with Matsuri has been one of the best things from this series, so whatever happens in the final episode, it's going to play on the emotional heartstrings for sure. |

| Finally Nagumo won something with the photo contest although I don't believe that they revealed what the prize was. The skit with Niikura punching the nose alien thing (I don't recall if it has a name and what it is) was a bit weird but at the end it seemed to have left the pendant behind that Niikura has been after for a while. Speaking of which, I like how there's been continuation of events that have happened in previous episodes such as Niikura's pendant and also Ecchan and Matsuri saying goodbye to each other for probably the final time. |

| DAMN, this is probably in the top 3 of the show for me, up there with the Subway Surfers episode and episode 7. Every bit except Vocabulary had me at the very least chuckling, at the very most cackling, and even Vocabulary was pretty sweet with how they included Nagumo in their old man drinking circle. Niikura and the Road is a personal candidate for best segment in the show, and City Grand Prize ain't far behind. Really sad this show is coming to a close next week, this is the 2nd best show behind Takopi I've followed this season as someone new to anime. It ain't perfect, but when a joke hits in this, it really fucking hits, and the bittersweet, heartfelt moments sprinkled throughout give CITY so much character. Hope they finish it out strong :) EDIT: Also does anyone have a clue who left the pendant for Niikura? I'm a little unclear on that. Was it the whatever-the-hell-that-thing-is? Figured I should ask as I doubt we'll find out definitively next episode |

I couldnt help wonder why Niikura didnt just pick up the coin instead of trying to go into a long battle with the nose creature. Maybe it took pity on her and got the pendant for her. |

| Hold up. That scene in 20:15 destroyed where she showed her.... leaving so suddenly. This was a very sad moment for me and even though I am not attached to these characters so much, it hit right in the feels. Damn |
| One of the best episodes of the series, with lots of Wakoments to go around. The only part that felt a little too long was Niikura punching Zach Hadel. Eri and Matsuri's final meeting hurt to watch. I aspire to love life nearly as much as her. The amount of joy I feel every time I hear her dopey laugh makes my day instantly brighter. |

| Loved the Nagumo skits and Wako's laughing at the start. Did not understand Nikura's punching the giant nose creature though. What was stopping her just moving past it to pick up the 100 yen coin on the ground? Either some obscure Japanese thing that doesn't translate well overseas, or maybe just a message about persistence since she got her locket in the end anyway? CITY managed to have it's own ¥12 billion incident :P |
| Now this was one CRAZY episode! Why the heck did Niikura start fighting the big-nose white thingy lol? Horse race was LOL. Were there actual horses in there to begin with? :D So sad to see Eri left after all :( |

| The horse race was insane!! One of the best skits of the show. Love the main trio's antics everytime they're on. They behave like how IRL friends would. Also love the seeing old guys having fun. I think Younger Wako made the UFO in the first place. I also love Ecchan and her friend's relation. She played on with Ecchan which was nice. But guess she's already moving, as seen from her disappearing and the seeing moving truck. On to the last ep!!!!! |
| TBH... the punching Nose creature was a BIT too random (even more than the other episodes) What was the reason she was punching the nose to begin with? the nose was literally just standing there, not obstructing her or anything. Even if she wanted the coin, she could have just picked it up... why punch? Imagine if we did this in real life whenever we see a random coin the floor and start to punch a random person... . LOL @ the horse race. Who rips up their lottery ticket before the result is finalized? lol But... who allowed a Gazelle to be accepted into the race in the first place? The Horns aren't even the most noticeable issue... the animal's body is no where close to a horse's body... But then again... the other horses aren't actual horses either... one of them was a Robot... . |

| Niikura's va is doing overtime, beyond time, out-of-the-world time. The best part is where ecchan goes around the city doing random stuff since it would be the last time she would be seeing the place, but she does not say goodbye to Matsuri. |
