Alot of people have been comparing the ending of JJK and CSM on which is worse and that made me wonder which new gen ending people dislike more. Not saying I think all of these are bad endings I'm just interested to see what people think now that they're all done. I know Attack On Titan isn't new Gen but I put it on here cause why not.

This one is by far the worst out of all of them.

For me, nothing surpasses the ending of AOT.

Mha ending makes sense and is quite good, jjks ending and csm’s ending also make sense but are just meh in their own right. Demon slayers ending is just full on ass

Although I hate aot final stretch not just the ending, I feel like I can still enjoy everything else. Whereas csm ending makes me feel like reading part 2 was just a waste of time.

Facts don’t care about yall feelings, so objectively in storytelling standards, it’s more or less this :

Good ending — MHA & DS (consistent and satisfying conclusions)
Mediocre ending — JJK & AOT (either rushed, messy, bland or anticlimactic)
Bad ending — CSM (mostly bad writing, poor resolution and ruins the entre story)

Not going to lie I’m done glazing Fujimoto this ending was straight buns I wish we had a part three that explains all the stuff that was not fleshed out properly I feel like this man gave up on the manga like what do you mean it got 232 chapters and 24 volumes i wish it was longer so we can get all the questions solved 😔 for togashi I understand he had back issues while making yuyu hakusho and that is still my favourite anime and manga of all time even though I got hunter hunter a bit higher than that for both anime and manga but still if we got a sequel to chainsaw man that answers everything I will be the most happiest man alive

There's no perfect ending, but no one has given fans a middle finger like Fujimoto. He would have done less harm to the series by not finishing it than by giving it this crap.

This is 100% what I felt aswell. The ending of Part one was so nice. Had a good message too with the whole Makima being evil because she wasn't loved as a child and denji not making the same mistake with Nayuta and actually helping her become a decent somewhat "human" being. But no ofc Fujismotor just had to first throw the plot into a blender and then just drive what remained of it against a brick wall. Maybe I'm just too stupid to understand it but this ending and the majority of Part 2 just felt... dissapointing

Why is MHA here? Not even a bad ending

Aot was just dumb writing. He wanted Eren to be this determined hero turned villain only to have Eren give his plan up last second, making the entire race issue even worse.

Chainsaw man was just extremely uninteresting and boring for how many ways it could have gone.

My hero’s ending was so bad the author had to release like 5 epilogue chapters for anyone to have a clue where the characters were headed or ended up.

My hero takes the cake for me out of the 3. Horikoshi must have been told to end it on that chapter even though he had more to say. Just insanely sloppy

The Chainsaw man manga ending had me sitting there frustrated! I finished and had so many questions and it left me feeling like all that stuff happened just for none of it to matter in the end. Absolutely love the anime and movie as well as the manga. But they really should give us more and where it left off it could easily keep going with more of an actual end to fill the void.

MHA will always be one of the biggest drop offs in quality of any written work of fiction. Reading the last third of the story as it came out was genuinely shocking.

CSM is the same to a lesser degree. Sections of part 2 are decent, but the drop in quality from part 1 to part 2 is big

JJK ending is just nothing. In fact the entire story is nothing after 236

AoT ending has been talked about to death, nothing to really say here other than its just a mess

Demon Slayer was never good enough to make me care

for me MHA is by FAR the worst but 2nd is probably CSM

"mostly bad writing" is such a meaningless descriptor... how can u throw three words together and somehow drain them of all semantic value
