you know gto? it kinda reminds me of it, something about anime from that era have a kind of authenticity that seems to be almost extinct nowdays.
also, comedic shows that combine some flavor of subtle depth added to them are always a treat! i prefer these kind of shows than the ones that pretend to take themselves seriously when they’re all just a mess. wbu, lately what kind of treat are you looking for ?

Yeah I think I'll be busy .... there are SOO many books I want to read, movies to watch but... at least I wanna keep up with anime, its not that time consuming

It’ll take a while before I apply for further studies, so I’m taking a break for now.
I’m just working with a group for a summit where I’ll be giving a presentation. Im too bad at public speaking -_-
Other than that, I’m trying to write a few more academic papers hopefully they’ll get published 🙏🙏 its too much work

noted, but since you're interested in football irl there's a manga called ao ashi, it's really great (the manga >>>> anime) the introduction may seem cliché but the development deviates from it and creates something unique of its genre, so if you want, check it out !!
ohh i put that one on-hold for so long but i remember really liking it, the artstyle really captures the ambience and emotions of the characters
