Hideki Tachibana (Busou Shoujo Machiavellianism) is helming the anime at Connect. Keiichirou Oochi (Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Kan) is handling the series composition and script. Shouko Takimoto (Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake ka yo) is designing the characters. Takata began penning the novel on the Kakyuyomu website in November 2020. Kadokawa began publishing the novel under its Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint with illustrations by Tom Osabe in December 2021 and released the eighth volume on October 1. Rin Ono began drawing a manga adaptation on the Alive+ web magazine in July 2022. Kadokawa published the sixth volume on June 27, with the seventh volume planned for a December 26 release. Yen Press licensed the manga adaptation for English release in December 2024 and published the second volume on November 25, with the third volume scheduled for a June 23, 2026 release. | They gave Maki a major glowup!!! He's a LOT more derpy looking in the manga, which was kinda the point, since it's supposed to be a romance between two people whose social circles never would intersect because of status. The girls look a lot different too, to the point of Umi's thumbnail in the video made me think it was a different show altogether. Yuu's OK, but Best Girl Nitta got trashed....😥 |
