nearly every character is in sort of a level where I want them to bloom further before considering them to be my favorite.

I hope Kishibe gets more screentime and doesn't just die like fodder.

when i first started csm (i didnt watch first 3 ep, dont ask why, im dumb) i also read manga and when a saw reze she is my absolute favorite. now she is also my favorite but with asa. bec this 2 are the only one love denji for real.

Denji is waaaaaay too interesting! I think he is such an amazingly written character. Chainsaw, all in all explores interesting character dynamics and topics. For me Denji takes No. 1 place for sure.

Reze. It's her movie for a reason. I love how tragic her story is. Being locked in a warehouse and being forced to train and go through countless experiments that would've killed her. Her backstory is just the tip of the iceberg, what stuck with me is the fact that she actually wanted to escape her duties with Denji. When she asked him to run away with her it's genuine, but after he rejected her she had to give up and proceed with her original mission. It's only after their fight that Reze realized Denji still chose her. But she knew they'd never get far with Makima controlling Denji, so she broke his neck to stop him from following her for his own good. We see how she donated to the orphans the same way denji did, proving that she does have a heart. No matter what people say nothing will change the fact that she returned to the cafe knowing that Makima would've stopped her sooner or later. Tragically she never even got to meet denji
