Mappa seriously went overboard with this film. There's no doubt which project is their favorite now.
A brilliant movie with stunning animation and ost. Even though I read the manga, watching it animated felt fresh.
Reze the best girl of this show. It was very emotional at the end.
I hope they maintain the same quality for the next season too.

can never go wrong with a beautiful ost, watching the pool scene gave me immense goosebumps. i dont cry all too much but think i would’ve shed a tear or few if i had watched it in theaters with all that extra sound quality

I never thought a person could be positively traumatized, I wish I could dream about this movie over and over again.

I don't even know if my eyes are supposed to be open for this long but the animation didn't give me a chance to blink. Animation does not even begin to describe how beautiful this movie was from every detail and the colors...oh my goodness the colors made me really question if I deserve to watch this.

I went into this thinking its already going to be absolutely stunning and I didn't hear a single manga reader say the manga is better so i had very high hopes and expectations. I am personally not a fan of chainsaw man to the extend I would put it in my top 20-40 but this movie alone made me question why I didn't like the series as much but i have come to understand that the story from season 1 just wasn't for me but this movie's narrative brought the story the much needed direction I needed to get back into I guess.

Well I am done with what I needed to say, Reze deserved better and best character design in my opinion both devil and human form closest being Denji

Time for me contemplate if I deserve eyes right now

Uhhhhh...I like anime so deal with it. Anyways whatever you just read...I really meant it (✿◠‿◠)

The first half felt like a drag with Reze dating Denji. It hurt the movie for me. I did like the plot twist though. I hope the assassins arc is better

imagine going into this blind without reading the manga beforehand
those are some jaw-dropping animation sequences
crazy thing is Reze actually loves Denji in the end.

Overrated. It was a good action movie, but it sucked in the emotion and feelings department. Doesn't deserve to be over the like of Stein's Gate.

Unfortunately, I have forgotten a lot of Season 1. When that guy Aki was saying Kon I was like I thought this power was Megumi's power in JJK.

I long ago read spoilers about this movie but forgot and I was shocked when Reze started attacking him.

Aki acts like he hates devils but he tried to save that angel guy even knowing his life span would decrease.

Denji is really retarded. She tried to kill him to get his heart and also killed so many people but he easily forgave her.

Makima is much more powerful than Reze.

I am confused why the Shark guy said Reze works for the gun devil but its revealed that she works for the Soviet Union.

I watched it in the theaters and really enjoyed watching Chainsaw on the big screen.

I really want him to be happy, and even though their relationship was a bit toxic (with her lying and all but...)... I think they would have been happy together. Sadly, a happy ending does not seem possible in Chainsaw Man's universe.

The animation was good, very in line with what I expected from this anime. I do believe that the art style is fitting for the story.

The music was in sync with the scenes, and the flow felt very natural.

Of course I cried... overall I really enjoyed it.
