| Marshall just can't escape what reminds him of Sam lol. At least he's experiencing something different in that virtual game world. Speaking of Sam, I think her confidence is growing. Her character development has been somewhat slow but protrayed well for her personality imo. |
| Marshall’s definitely catching feelings for the game, or maybe just riding the high from redeeming Sam’s mess. But that 'Seduce the ranger' option? Sam’s wild imagination is showing, especially considering she was nervous about her first kiss with Link. Peak chaotic energy. |
| Marshall continuing his deepdive into Ruminate and trying to get into Sam's rhetoric of a game where NPCs and monsters can't be killed, it's the thinking of the mind and strategies that enables one to beat the game. However, in the game of romance, it's Angela who truly finds herself falling for Link since the day Sam saved him as well, that if they tried to react with feelings, it would jeopardize the entire friendship. It's the same story with Monica and Marshall, for the latter's ailing health. In a similar manner, Charles having to support Sam meeting their clientele and raising negotiations, the latter thinking that all she needed was to raise a good proposition, yet the former has already thought steps ahead to give the company as much leverage as they can, this is also business at its most core fundamental. The exact same thing happens when a troll tries to stop Marshall from crossing its bridge, and all it takes is an understanding and communion, to add to quite the game experience within Sam's unique game. What more journeys will Marshall find within Sam's game? |
| Nice to see Marshall enjoying Ruminate, it does look like a fun and enjoyable game. Sam learned a lot during that meeting, she isdoing a good job in tough situations. |

| Decent episode. I love how Samara designed every character in Ruminate after her real-life friends, haha. Link and Angela were so cute this episode, and so were Charles and Samara. With only about two episodes left, I’m not sure they’ll all get together, but I really hope they do. The dynamics feel nice. Also, I can’t help but wonder why Charles was playing Ruminate. Each new episode shows him playing it, seemingly in the past, since he had long hair, but it never really explains why. How did he even know Samara back then? Did he still work for her dad? No idea. I hope they explain it soon. |
| Marshall seems to really love Ruminate now and even Charles plays at the game, Sam knows how to make great games hehe! |
| Cutting out Charles' interest in escape rooms (puzzles) for the anime remains a baffling decision. First really good episode for this series imo. Got some solid character development, including seeing how Sam views her friends. Good humor mixed in throughout. An entertaining episode that closes with some foreshadowing for how things will end over the next 2 episodes. Hopefully the last 2 episodes are just as good. |
| I liked that we get to "play the game" somehow, it does indirectly add many layers of character deveploment for Sam. |
