| Episode 2 adapted chapter 56 and like 3/4 of 57. Chapter 57 is pretty long (38 pages) and dialogue heavy, so no wonder they didn't adapt it in its entirety. Another thing, Einar does feels a bit different than his manga counterpart, more serious in general. I don't mind, he's still Einar (so far), but manga readers that complained about Episode 1 aren't going to feel any better about this one. On another note, next episode Snake is finally going to appear! |

| Episode 3 adapted the rest of chapter 57, chapter 58 and again like 3/4 of 59. I thought they would adapt the entire chapter, but nope, they're taking this slow (not a complaint). Given the preview, I expect a lot of original content in the next episode. |

I think this one was directed (or he did the storyboard, I don't know well) by the same guy who did episode 14, so in terms of direction this one was great. | Didn't really feel like 3 chapters were adapted, the team's doing a great job making it feel as natural as possible. |

| Episode 9 adapted chapters 70 and 71. Well, I can safely give this season a 10 now. They adapted perfectly one of my favorite chapters of the entire manga, what a fantastic episode. |
| Well, we're already halfway through the season, with more or less 22,7 chapters adapted (they skipped chapter 74 and the last pages of 73). For reference, S1 had adapted 24 chapters by this point, with lots of original content as well. It's not that much of a difference tbh, especially considering that these 22,7 chapters S2 adapted were more dialogue heavy. |

| Episode 17 adapted only one chapter 86 with original Gardar content. My honest opinion? Best original scene Vinland Saga team has put out. This anime continue to receive way more care than we deserved. A rare occassion where anime > manga. |

| Btw anime > manga is not a rare occurrence lol. Currently airing Oshi no ko, Skip to Loafer, Demon Slayer, Jigokuraku, Tengoku Daimakyou, Kimi wa Houkago Insomnia, Loving Yamada at Lv999 and many more is way better than the manga. But Vinland Saga's manga is already soo good it's really hard to faithful adapt such a high profile source material but they did it. Even enhance the source material which is unbelievable. |

About the episode, I wonder what the "Ketil is a good guy" crowd is going to think about this... The slaver owner who also had a sex slave is not that much of a nice guy after all. Shocking, I know. |

| Episode 20 adapted chapters 92 and 93, but skipped the final pages of 93. They're changing the order of the events once again, like they did in the final episodes of Season 1. Back in S1 days I wasn't so sure these changes would work, but they proved me wrong (to the point that I liked the final episodes of the Prologue better than their manga counterpart). Now? Yabuta has my full trust. |
