Recommendations

Modern, vibrant, action packed with great animation sequences. Full of energy, and characters facing their own problems in an entertaining way.

Both are shounen anime about characters with superpowers. They also are both made by David Pro and have the same director.

Both Kill La Kill and Undead Unluck are Ultraviolent action romps with similar design sensibilities. UU feels very much like a Gainax/Early Trigger production in general.

just in case if someone was interested in a undead character although both are different genre... both mc are immortal characters looking for good dead.

In both animes we have a: - random meeting of two unusual people that leads to huge troubles they have to deal with. - supernatural phenomenons/ superpowers - strong comedic aspect (which in dan da dan pushes the boundaries more so this anime isn't for everybody) - similar vibe of the whole series

UU feels like a modern 'tribute' to HxH, with Tozuka openly acknowledging its inspiration. If you like HxH, UU could be a great recommendation for a fresh take on the same genre!

Both have the same premise, adventure and battle using supernatural powers while protecting the girl. Spiced up with ecchi scenes for the heroine.

Both anime have stories of power user clashes and both fight using unique strategies. If undead unluck analyzes the opponent's negated “rules”. Then the law of ueki analyzes the opponent's Limiting Condition.

Same similarities, but opposite gender: The main character has bad ability while the other main character takes their own life at risk on the main character.

Both shows have a zombie like entity which is immortal, fun & action packed with beautiful visuals. Furthermore, Ayumu and Andy are both weirdly unique personality wise whilst having hilarious moments that enhances the overall watching experience. Comedy is subjective after all, even though personally it feels like they're part of the same universe.

These are two of the most unique Jump titles, and there isn't quite anything like them. But if you liked Jojo, there's a high chance you'll like Undead Unluck too, because the Negator abilities will remind you a lot of Stands with the complexity of the powers and the creative ways in which they can be used. Also the plot revolves around adventures in different parts of the world, the characters have clear motivations and both series share the same studio.

These shows both feature crazy powers in a pseudo post apocalyptic world with flashy bright colors and over the top fights. They also both feature a similar humor with raunchy jokes, though needless is much more adult in this manner.

-Both stories involve powers that arise from contradictions, every ability costs something -Neither series have clean heroes or villains, emotion drives evolution basically -Both stories treat supernatural powers as a "curse" or punishment, not a gift. -Both series have God like mentors guiding doomed prodigies

I don't know why, but I remembered what I felt when I saw Boku no Hero Academia, I have the same vibes.
