Full scale model wars
Quite some time ago I participated in an event and I noticed that two of the players were using some tanks that seemed a little on the large side. Melbourne's favorite French sons Julian and Enzo had come out to play and they had bought some 1:48 scale tanks. Initially I had a kind of reservation about using a larger scale, after all 1:48 is a lot bigger than 1:56 and therefore harder to transport, easier for your enemy to shoot at and easier to break as 1:48 tends to be an actual model as opposed to a toy. But then I noticed the exquisite detail these models offer as well as the fact that your models actually look like they could fit inside the tank.

Bolt Action - Review: Tamiya Sdkfz 222 Armored Car
Need a cheap Armored Car to include in your German force? Consider getting an SDKFZ 222. This little guy is really cool looking with his 20mm cannon and MG-34. While not the best armored car in Bolt Action, it has some great lines which make it one of the sportiest looking of the armored cars. It is also essential if you want Hanoswag (TM - J) points for your early war army.

Bolt Action - Review: Tamiya Panzer III N and StuG D
I picked up a Tamiya Panzer III N and StuG D for Bolt Action when I got the Puma and Hanomag I spotlighted the other day. Just like the Puma and Hanomag, I bought (stole! - Judson) these tanks from a friend and they came already built.

Bolt Action - Review: Tamiya SdkFz 251 and Puma
I picked up some 1/48 scale Tamiya models for my Bolt Action Germans recently. It was nice to pick them up already built. As much as I love 1/48 scale vehicles, I loath building them. I went ahead and repainted the SdKfz 251 and Puma because they did not match my style. In about 2 hours of work I had them ready to rock in roll. Since I did not build the kits from the start I am not able to do a full review of these kits, however news on the streets is Tamiya is pretty solid.

Bolt Action - Review: Tamiya 1/48 Scale 88mm Flak 36
Tamiya has long been know as one of the best model kit markers in the industry. Their highly detailed kits come in a variety of scales and rarely disappoint. I picked up an Tamiya 1/48 scale 88mm Flak 36 for Bolt Action the other day and plan on putting it to good use.
