Hello everyone,

If you are viewing this, you are either a current member of the Test Flight team or are interested in joining. Currently the film is need of:

- Flash Animators
- Background Colorists (with knowledge in illustrator)
- After Effects Compositors

The film runs about 2 minutes long with expected completion date of Fall 2011 (other portions of this blog might say different, but this is now the expected time). It is an exciting project with plenty of potential and is likely to be sent to festivals. It can also be added to a resume or portfolio. I also offer Flash Animation tutorials and assistance should anyone be in need of such.

Currently, the film has backgrounds drawn out and is in the process of being animated by a small but talented team of SCAD students, alumni, and other people from all across the world.

Car puppet Test by Dana Corrigan

Here's a test of the car puppet made by Dana Corrigan! She's doing a beautiful job building this puppet from the ground up, and is hard at work making sure the final animation in the shot will look spectacular. What we have here right now is just a quick test of the mechanics of the puppet and not so much the animation. I'm excited to see it finalized for sure!

Test Flight Rough Cut

Some of the cuts are a little choppy, but I think it will smooth out once more animation gets completed!

Test Flight End of the Quarter Note

Hello Everyone,

What a crazy quarter it has been! These ten weeks have just flown by. As I finish up the first rough cut animatic for Test Flight this morning, I can only stress how very grateful I am for everyone who has given me his or her time and care for this project. This film will be successful thanks to you guys, the crew.

As we continue on to next quarter with animation and background coloring, I would just like to thank everyone for a very uplifting and smooth production process so far. I hope everyone is learning as much on this film as I am, and that the good things coming out of this project continue.

Thank you guys!

- Tracy

Shot 10 Drawn Keys

Keys by Kelsey Norden

Kelsey has actually already done a beautiful job making the keys in puppets this past week, but I thought I would like to show off her drawn keys here first! Just look at Mabel's pose, and how cute Jonathon is.

Shot 06 Drawn Keys

Shot 6 is a subtle, but emoetional scene to the film. I love the expression here, beautiful work!

Shot 02 Drawn Keys

Keys by Victoria Alexander

Check out these adorable drawn keys for Shot 02 of the film :). I just love the subtlety and the cuteness!
