I've been working on my Lincoln Museum Quilt since Christmas Day. It has been a really fun project. I have it all pieced and ready to go to the quilter. I'm hoping I can get it back for a birthday gift soon. Thanks for the inspiration Juliann and Lori.
This isn't a great picture, but it will give you an idea of what the top will look like when it is completed!

Happy New Year 2018
I hope all of you have a very happy, productive and adventurous New Year! I have resolved to be a better blogger this year.
Just after Christmas I started a new project. It is the Lincoln Museum Quilt. I decided that the fat quarters of fabric waiting to be sewn into another project would work in this one so I "repurposed" them and have been sewing away.
So far I have completed 13 stars
and 19 sixteen patch blocks.
24 blocks to go!

A New Start
My blogging friends, Juliann and Lori are starting new quilts, so I thought I should join in!
We are sewing our own versions of the Lincoln Museum Quilt.
Since I don't love working with plaids or homespun fabric, I decided to use this fabric I had purchased to make a quilt, but never got it started.

2017
Wow! The year has slipped by so quickly and I have been very remiss in posting about my quilting.
I have been sewing, but mostly have focused this year on our outdoor adventures.
I have recently started working on some languishing UFO's. I like to do handwork when we travel. On the way home from the Grand Canyon in November, I finished this candle mat for my mother in law. I had been making a set for her with one for every month. This one some how ended up unfinished until now. I gave it to her yesterday.

Tonight I finished this one! Now she has a complete set of 12.
I'll try to be a better blogger. Stay tuned for some more finishes. I just have binding to go on several quilts!

February's Finish
I have been sewing Farmer's Wife Sampler blocks for a long time! The blocks were all finished, but setting them was my hang up. I did not like the way the book set the blocks. I searched blogs and found a setting plan that I liked.
Well, I have been working on it, and the top is finally finished! Before you decide to get a king size bed, please contact me! LOL
I stood on a chair for this picture to give you an idea of how it looks. I'll post more pictures after it is completely finished!

A Month of Sewing
Wow! January has been a long, cold month here in wintery Montana! I have passed the time sewing and listening to books! I have thoroughly enjoyed both activities, but feel a bit of cabin fever!
I finished a lap quilt top that I have been collecting green fabric to make. I love green and the way this throw came together! I had some extra blocks, so I made a pillow top as well.

I started this quilt a few years ago and found a mistake in the pattern. I felt frustrated, so put it away for a while. Later, I dug it out and put it up on my design wall, thinking I would get it finished. Well, that was about a year ago. Finally, it is finished! I actually like the way it turned out, and am thankful I can use my design wall again!
Now I'm working to finish my Farmer's Wife Sampler quilt! The blocks are done! I'm just bordering them to set the blocks! Onward!

Another January Finish!
The weather continues to be cold, or down right bad. I have been passing the indoor time sewing!
Another top is finished! This is top number 4!
This was a new start, and I'm really happy with how it came together!
Now I send it off to be quilted!
