StItching Finish

This is my 48th stitching finish of 2019.  In all honestly most of them have been smalls

Designer:  Prairie Schooler
Design:  Prairie Year - May
Fabric:  1CT PTP Earthen
Floss:  DMC
1st Stitch:  12/21/2019
Last Stitch:  12/27/2019
For:  Me
It always amazes me how long these little Prairie Schooler designs take to stitch.  Although this one stitched up much faster then the others in this booklet did.  I was very leery of stitching this because I thought it was going to be really hard but it was very easy to stitch.

I am now stitching the first of Lizzie Kate's Autumn Smalls.  On New Year's Day I am going to start my 2020 Christmas ornaments.  Hopefully I can stitch one a month or maybe more.  I have no big plans for 2020.  I have a whole bunch of smalls in my to-do-pile and I think I am going to just concentrate on them this year.  Who knows I may finish more than 48 in 2020.  I already have 13 in my to be FFO'd pile.  Of course 2 of them need to be framed so they will go to Carolyn at Just Cross Stitch as soon as I get PS May back.  I would like to stitch Lizzie Kate Winter Smalls and Summer Smalls but I don't have the charts yet and I want to keep my purchases this year to mostly fabric and floss.

I finished the stitching on this a couple of days ago but haven't had a chance to post it.

I am going to make it into a little pillow to display
in the Dough Bowl I didn't get for Christmas.
If I don't get one for my birthday I will get it for
myself
We had a wonderful Christmas yesterday.  We had Eggs Benedict for breakfast.  Then opened our presents and relaxed a bit before eating a light lunch and starting to cook dinner.  Our menu was
Baked Ham, Scalloped Potatoes with cheese, mixed vegetable casserole and pineapple casserole.  Shirley made the pineapple casserole.  For dessert Bob and Shirley had  apple pie with vanilla ice cream.  I had vanilla ice cream.  I had also made dessert but it was replaced by the apple pie.  After dinner and cleaning up the kitchen Shirley and us exchanged Christmas presents.  After Shirley left Bob and I sat down and watched a Harry Potter movie.
