This is Janlynn Wizzers Billy and the Birdy. I finished this a couple of weeks ago. One of my morning before I go to work porjects. It will eventually be made into a Christmas ornament. We have to many other things going on to worry about finishing ornaments right now.

Picked up some finishes from the Framer
The picture on the left is Lizzie Kate's 2007 Monthly Flip-its. It isn't a very good picture but you get the idea. The picture above is Elsa Williams' Autumn Covered Bridge. The Lizzie Kate I am going to hang next to the door of my new office. We haven't decided on where the Covered Bridge is going.

It is Friday again
Well here it is Friday again. I have been stitching a little this week but not a lot. I am working on the P38 Lightning and Mill Hill Christmas ornament Frosty. Both are slow stitches for some reason. I will try to post some pictures of my WIPs over the weekend but I am not making any promises.
B and I spent last Sunday at my sisters. My niece and her daughter were in from Oregon. It was so great to see them and then my niece's best friend from high school and her family came over too. I haven't seen them for ages. It was wonderful to see them all.
Monday we ordered the desk for my office and it should be here this coming Monday. I can't wait for B to put it together and I can get the office all set up. We did take my sewing machine and a bookcase down there last Saturday so it is starting to come together. B's airplane room has the cabinets all installed and he is starting to separate airplanes and put them in the cabinets. I think this is going to be a long process.
Monday B will be transferred to Norristown for his job. Needless to say he is not a happy camper. It is going to make is commute twice as long. Not because of the distance but because of the traffic. I guess I will be getting dinner from now on. I am so spoiled because he has been fixing dinner on weeknights for us for years. Oh well, I guess it is my turn now.
I got a call yesterday from Carolyn at Just Cross Stitch and my Autumn Covered Bridge and my Lizzie Kate Flip It Months from 2007 are framed and ready to pick up. I will get them tomorrow when Bob gets back from Ken's. I am hoping to take the Patchwork Sampler to get it framed. I can't wait to see that hanging in my office.
TGIF - I can't wait for today to end.
Have a fun day.

New Project
I started stitching a P28 Lightning for DH. I don't have much stitched as I really haven't stitched on it this week since I have been fighting a head cold all week. At least I thought it was a head cold. I am begining to think maybe it is spring allergies. It just doesn't want to get better. I am also stitching a Mill Hll Christmas Ornament "Frosty" which is coming along slowly.
My niece and her daugher are coming in from Oregon tonight. They will be at my sisters for a few days and then they are going to her Dad's for a few days before leaving next Saturday. My sister is having a dinner for them on Sunday. Can't wait to see them. It has been a long time.
Guess I better get back to work. I have to clean the refrigerator here at work this afternoon. Not my idea of fun but it is ycky in there.
Have a great day.

Catia Dias Patchwork Sampler
Finishes
I had a great day for finishes yesterday. In the morning before leaving for work I finished the snowman Christmas ornament I have been working on and then last night I finished Catia Dias' Patchwork Sampler. I took pictures of them this morning so hopefully I will be able to post pictures tonight if I can get on the upstairs computer before Bob takes it over. The sampler is beautiful, if I must say so myself. LOL nothing like tooting your own horn.
We are hoping that the cabinets in Bob's hobby room will be installed next Wednesday. Depends on if he can get the day off as he has a hearing scheduled for that day. He is trying to get it settled so he can take off. One way or another they should be installed by the end of next week.
I got vacation approved for the week of May 11th. That is the week I am going to Hampton, VA to see Sue. We are planning a couple of day trips. I am taking the train down and then she is going to bring me home since she has to go close out a safety deposit box she has up here.
Well I better get back to work.

A couple of small finishes
Here are a couple of small finishes. The top one is San Man Original Hippity Hoppity a freebie from their latest newsletter. The 2nd one is a Valentine chart I found somewhere on the Internet. Both of them were quick and easy stitches.
I didn't go to work today. When we got up this morning there were several inches of snow on the ground and they were calling for several inches more by noon. Bob and I decided it just wasn't worth taking the chance. By mid morning the snow was falling fast and furious and the wind was blowing. I was so glad at that point that I hadn't gone it. I would have been sitting there worring about how I was going to get home and how bad the roads would be at 5:00. I spent most of the day stitching on Hippity Hoppity.
