I can't believe that this was stitching finish number 31 for me this year.  I only finished 32 all last year.  Of course most of the ones I have stitched this year are ornament size.

My start today will be Prairie School - Prairie Year - October.  Another ornament sized project.

I have been finishing ornaments for the last couple of weeks.  I now have them all finished except for one which I hope to finish this afternoon.

I finished another Christmas ornament yesterday and worked on three more.  I hope to finish the FFOing the three I started today.  Although when I turned one of them my bottom was a little wonky so I have to turn it and fix that.

I have 2 more ornaments ready to be sewn together.  Several more cut out and waiting for me to put them together and get them to the sewing machine.

I am currently stitching on Prairie Schooler 2005 Yearly Santa.  I have a couple more charts kitted up and ready to start and one that I need fabric for and plan to start on September 1st as a Stitch-Along with some Floss-Tubers.

Other than stitching and watching Flosstube I haven't been doing much of anything.  It has been to stinking hot.  Temps have been in the mid to high 90s with very high humidity.  Ugh, the last week has been unbearable.

Today I have Chair Yoga at the Senior Center.  It always makes me feel so relaxed.

I stitched this little pillow for 2 Christmas in July SALs.  It is stitched and finished.  Although finishing it turned out to be quite a challenge.  I had it all sewed together and when I went to turn it I discovered I had it sandwiched incorrectly.  Soooooo I had to tear it all apart and reassemble it.  I am kind of glad it happened because I think it would have been to big the first time.

My primary care physician recommended this book to me when I went for my annual physical a few weeks ago.  His daughter is the agent for the author.  It is also a movie which I intend to watch one of these hot July afternoons.  The book was a very powerful read.  It was the story of a young boy with a disability who goes to school for the 1st time at the beginning of fifth grade.  I would highly recommend this book to everyone.
