I Love You by The Chocolate Cat

Finished this yesterday afternoon before dinner.  Still don't know how I feel about it.  I took it to get framed this morning and Carolyn from Just Cross Stitch, in Limerick, PA said she liked it. Sorry I didn't press it until after I took the picture.  I have to say stitching with silk floss could be addicting if it didn't cost so much.

Design:  I Love You
Fabric:  18CT Vintage Country Mocha
Floss:  Gloriana Silk - Autumn Arbor

The Chocolate Cat - I Love You

These are the two  I Love You that I have stitched previously as wedding samplers.  I did stitch a third one as a wedding sampler for a guy I use to work with and I stitched one, that I made into a no-sew cube for Bob and M25th wedding anniversary.  It now resides in a closet somewhere.

A Stitching finish and an FFO

decided to pull it out and stitch it.  It took me about an hour to stitch
Fabric:  18CT Fiddler Cloth.
I wish I had used a larger count, maybe 14 CT.
Floss:  San Man Originals Joseph's Magic Kaleidoscope
I have had this in my stash for years and years and never know what to use it for.
For:  My ornament tree

Couldn't resist taking a picture with my little bear
Last night I started stitching Lizzie Kate June Stamp.  It is the last monthly ornament I need for the top of my ornament tree.  I am waiting for the floss and fabric so I can start The Chocolate Cat - Love Letters.  This will be a wedding sampler for Emily and Carlos for their wedding in October.  I ordered silk floss for it so I hope it won't be to hard to use them.  I have stitched this three times before.  Twice as wedding samplers and once for Bob's and my 25th anniversary.  I'll see if I can find pictures ant post them later.

The laundry and cleaning the bathroom are calling me.  So off I go.

Another Christmas Ornament Stitching Finish and Another Snow Storm

Designer:  Wendy Peatross
Design:  Heart of Christmas
from the 2016 H=Just Cross Stitch Ornament Issue
Fabric:  16CT Country French Café Mocha
Floss:  DMC
1st Stitch:   03/01/2019 - Last Stitch:  03/04/2019
For:  Christmas present for ?

We had 4-5 inches of snow starting late yesterday afternoon until sometime overnight.  It was beautiful and in person it looks like puffy little balls of cotton on the trees.  These pictures don't do it justice.

My next large stitching project is going to be Words of Love which I am going to stitch in shades of Autumn as a wedding sampler for Emily and Carlos who are getting married on October 19, 2019.  I need to stitch it quickly so I can get it framed before their wedding.  I am going to stitch it on 18CT Aida using silk floss.  The silk floss was the only floss I could find that combined all the variegated colors I wanted. Or at least I hope it does.  I am going to order the fabric and floss from 123Stitch today.  I am almost done stitching Prairie Schooler May.  Only 5 sheep and the bottom boarder left to stitch.  Hopefully by the end of the week.  Keeping my fingers crossed.

Going to stat a Christmas ornament today as my weekend small.  It is Hearts of Christmas by Wendy Peatross.  It is from a Just Cross Stitch Ornament issue but I didn't write down which year.  It should be an easy stitch.  Well I hope it is.  I have my next 3 small projects picked out.
