It's been a hard days night

Spring Break was not just filled with Legoland. A few other important things happened!
First, Bud learned to ride his bike without training wheels!!!!! We are so happy!

Bud also got glasses!

They're going to take a bit of getting used too, but so far so good.
And a token cute Henry pictures!

We really like to take some sort of family trip during Spring break. This year was no exception. We ventured south a few hours to Legoland California and had a BLAST!!

Emma had a great birthday. It started on Saturday with a birthday lunch. I decided that this was going to be a no big birthday party year. So she invited a few friends out to lunch instead. I think this is totally the way to do a birthday!

$20 and no clean up for me-that's my kind of party!

On Sunday she requested pizza for dinner and cake and ice cream. Ricky, Kim and Oliver also came. Emma got some fun new things for Millie (her doll). Here's the present N8 and I got her (hiding under a towel since it was too big to wrap):

All week Paccha has decided he had a new bed!!!


My mom also sewed Emma some new outfits for Millie. Emma has been changing her into all of the outfits for pictures!


All in all a great birthday for Emma!!

Six years ago today I was in shock over having a baby on my bathroom floor. Today I'm the proud mommy of a sweet & sassy 6 year old.

My friend Megan and I were both asked by MommyParties to host a Nutella tasting party. Who says no to Nutella? Well I sure don't!

I read a lot of cooking/crafting blogs and had recently seen a blog post mentioning Nutella. When I got selected to host this party I knew that I had to make homemade poptarts with Nutella filling! I think they turned out pretty yummy and everyone seemed to enjoy them!

Megan also made a super yummy cinnamon chocolate dip that everyone loved! My favorite was dipping strawberries in it!

We also had crackers, cookies, fruit and pretzels to try it out on. There wasn't anything left so it must have been good!


The mommies loved it,

the kids loved it and all in all I think everyone went home loving Nutella!

For the last few years sometime near the end of February or early March we have a FHE lesson on faith and then begin planting some seeds that will hopefully make there way into our garden as Spring comes. This year was no exception. Hopefully this year we get a better yield!

Henry still hasn't found a good sleeping groove. Most mornings he gets up too early for my taste and ends up in bed with mommy. Then he stays a little while after I get up. Our kitty isn't sure about this:
