Hi! I need to use MSYS to compile a package. I want to use MinGW included in Qt Creator.... The problem is: How can I compile automatically MSYS under Windows?!?!? I need to compile MSYS without manual help... Is it possible?? Thanks -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Automatic-installation-of-MSYS-tp23136330p23136330.html Sent from the MinGW - MSYS mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |

So we were encountering the same problem that was descibed above. The problem existed on a computer where the evil Logitech LVPrcSrv.exe process was running. After upgrading to the latest msys dll snapshot, the problem ALMOST disappeared. ALMOST means, that the stackdumps are gone. However, one script would still occasionally terminate abnormally as long as LVPrcSrv.exe was running. The script defines and accesses "numeric" variables and terminates abnormally when accessing these variables: Snippet form the script (full script attached): 01 ... 02 PARAMCOUNT=1 03 ... 17 if [ $PARAMCOUNT -eq 1 ] 18 ... Terminates abnormally with the following message. # ./abcd: line 17: [: -eq: unary operator expected Please note that the abnormal termination only occurs when LVPrcSrv.exe is running. It also only occurs every ~10th time the script is executed. Any hints, why this is happening and what the connection with LVPrcSrv.exe is? best regards Wolfgang Here is my msysinfo output: $ msysinfo msysinfo-1.3: Send this to the MSYS support list: MSYS 1.0.11(0.46/3/2) 2009-01-29 00:39 i686 unknown; targ=MINGW32 GNU bash, version 3.1.0(1)-release (i686-pc-msys); ENV=.profile GNU Make 3.81This program built for i686-pc-msys; MAKE_MODE=unix /bin/msysinfo: line 12: gcc: command not found ; targ=MINGW32 /bin/msysinfo: line 13: ld: command not found 4024 2009-01-28 23:39:52.000000000 +0000 /bin/msys-1.0.dll 9392 2008-08-26 00:22:40.000000000 +0000 /bin/msys-bz2-1.dll 5136 2008-08-26 00:22:40.000000000 +0000 /bin/make.exe ls: .exe: No such file or directory ls: .exe: No such file or directory HOME=/g/trautbrg Sysname=MINGW32_NT-5.1 OSTYPE=msys TERM=msys PATH=.:/usr/local/bin:/mingw/bin:/bin ____________ Virus checked by G DATA AntiVirus Version: AVF 19.326 from 02.04.2009 |
