Abstract

1287034 Shelving L MASLOW 20 Jan 1970 [10 Feb 1969] 2747/70 Heading A4B A shelving structure with height adjustable shelves 10 comprises corner posts 34 each with indentations 36 spaced along its length, a shelf support member 20 secured to each corner of the shelf 10, a collar 40 welded to or integral with each support member 20, the collar 40 having a bore 60 aligned with a bore 32 in the support member 20 and an aperture (18) in the shelf 10 to receive a post 34, the collar 20 also having an axially extending key-way 62, and a wedge shaped key 64 which engages the key-way 62 to lock the collar 20 on the post 34. In the locked condition projections 66 on the key 64 engage indentations 36 in the post 34. The collar bore 60 has one half of constant radius and an opposite half of progress increasing radius along the length of the bore 60.
