Abstract

1311960 Shelving D MAXWELL 28 May 1971 [6 Nov 1970] 52854/70 Heading A4B A shelf support comprises a wall mountable upright 1 with a planar front surface 2 and longitudinal grooves 7 in its side edges, a shelf bracket 9, and a pair of clamps 14, 15 with flanges 16 which engage the grooves 7 and the bracket 9 so that a part of the bracket is clamped to the upright 1 between its front surface 2 and a part of the clamps 14, 15. The clamps 14, 15 are drawn together by a screw 19 to cause wedging engagement of similarly inclined faces 8, 17 of the upright 1 and clamps 14, 15 whereby the bracket 9 is forced into engagement with the front surface 2.
