[Also in Division E1] A wood or steel strut 1, 3 for constructing shelves or scaffolding comprises a longitudinal member having holes 2, 4 of the same shape as its cross-section. A structure is made by passing struts through the holes in identical struts. Wedges 5 may be used in conjunction with the holes to hold two struts together.
