Abstract

1,260,764. Strip fastener. K. SIEGEL. 7 Nov., 1969 [8 Nov., 1968], No. 54742/69. Heading E2S. A fastner of the longitudinal rib and groove type has a rib 6 with a mushroom like section, co-operating with a groove having two undercut hooks 8, 9. Mounting strips 3, 4 are connected to the elements in plane X-Y. A groove 18 is provided so that hooks 8, 9 pinch together when opening forces are applied in plane X-Y. The fastner may have a slider 15 (Fig. 2, not shown) and slider guide ribs 13, 14. The section of the fastner may be circular (Fig. 3, not shown).
