Abstract

1339304 Sliding clasp fastener OPTI-HOLDING AG 19 April 1971 [6 March 1970] 23248/71 Heading E2S A separable stop, for an interlocking element sliding clasp fastener, comprises a plug 8 and a socket 9 with associated connector 10, with, in the coupled position, a recess 13 between the plug and connector and between the plug or connector and its respective adjacent interlocking element, for example 4a. The plug and connector are formed of plastics material 11, 12 fixed to stringer tapes 1, 2 and extending beyond the recesses. The material 11, 12 may be foil welded to the stringer tapes and punched out near the rows 4, 5 of elements to allow positioning of the socket 9 and slider 7. The plug and connector may additionally be made from some of the interlocking elements, and the socket from plastics or metal.
