Abstract

Método para preparar citalopram purificado, caracterizado porque el producto de citalopram crudo se somete opcionalmente a una purificación adicional; y la base de citalopram cruda se somete subsiguientemente a un proceso de destilación en película para separar impurezas de la reacción de elevado peso molecular; después, el producto de citalopram resultante se purifica opcionalmente de forma adicional y se elabora y aísla en forma de la base o una sal farmacéuticamente aceptable del mismo.
