Die Erfindung betrifft ein Küchengerät, das vor dem Überkochen der Milch, oder einer anderen Flüssigkeit, rechtzeitig ein Signal gibt. The invention relates to a kitchen appliance that gives a signal in good time before milk or another liquid boils over.
Wenn Milch in einem Topf zum Kochen gebracht wird, schäumt sie bei Erreichen der Kochtemperatur auf. Der Milchschaum steigt in Sekunden über den Topfrand, fließt auf die heiße Herdplatte, wo er unter starker Geruchsentwicklung festbrennt. Der Nachteil ist die Geruchsbelästigung, die verlorengegangene Milch und die Verschmutzung der Herdplatte, die meist arbeitsintensiv gereinigt werden muß.When milk is brought to the boil in a pan, it foams up when it reaches boiling temperature. Das Warnsignal erinnert den Koch/Köchin an die kochende Milch. Die Elektroden sind in der Höhe auf den Milchspiegel manuell einstellbar. Der Milchschaum hat einen elektrischen Widerstand von ca. 20 000 Ohm, das ist ausreichend, um eine einfache elektronische Schaltung anzusteuern. Der Aufwand für die Pflege des Gerätes ist relativ gering, die Batterie muß selten gewechselt werden, weil der Stromverbrauch gering ist.
