Abstract

"DETERMINAçãO DA REFRAçãO OCULAR DE DADOS DE ABERRAçãO DE ONDA FRONTAL". A refração ocular é determinada de dados de aberração de onda frontal, e uma correção personalizada ótima é projetada. A aberração de onda do olho é medida (202) pela utilização de um detetor como o detetor Shack-Hartmann (714). Da aberração, uma métrica da imagem é calculada (214), e as aberrações de segunda ordem que otimizam essa métrica são determinadas (218). Dessa otimização, a correção refrativa (220) necessária para o olho é determinada. A métrica de imagem é uma de várias métricas que indicam a qualidade da imagem no plano retinal ou um substituto para essa métrica. A correção refrativa necessária (220) pode ser utilizada para formar uma lente ou controlar a cirurgia ocular. Se é possível detectar mais aberrações do que podem ser corrigidas, são corrigidas aquelas aberrações que mais afetam a visão, ou para as quais a tolerância de erro do olho é mais baixa.
