Abstract
La solicitud objeto se refiere a clases de proteínas activas de forma insecticida y las secuencias de polinucleótidos que codifican para estas proteínas. Concretamente, las proteínas insecticidas de aproximadamente 12 - 24 kDa y de aproximadamente 12 - 14 kDa se utilizan para controlar los guanos de la raíz del maíz. La solicitud objeto incluye métodos y plantas transgénicas para el control del gusano de la raíz del maíz occidental y otros insectos coleópteros. Reivindicación 2: El método de la reivindicación 1, en donde la proteína potenciadora comprende una secuencia de aminoácidos funcional que comprende la SEQ ID Nº 2 y en donde la proteína toxina comprende cualquiera de las proteínas toxinas seleccionadas del grupo que consiste en SEQ ID Nº 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 71, 74, 76, 82, 86, 88, 91, 93, 95, 97, 99, 101, 103 y 105.
