Abstract
Se proveen composiciones con actividad pesticida y métodos de uso de las mismas. Las composiciones incluyen moléculas de ácidos nucleicos recombinantes y sintéticos que codifican los polipéptidos, construcciones de ADN y vectores que comprenden las moléculas de acido nucleico, células huésped que comprenden los vectores, y anticuerpos para los polipéptidos. Las secuencias de nucleótidos que codifican los polipéptidos se pueden utilizar en construcciones de ADN o casetes de expresión para la transformación y expresión en organismos de interés. Las composiciones y métodos provistos son útiles para la producción de organismos con una mejor resistencia o tolerancia a las plagas. También se proporcionan plantas y semillas transgénicas que comprenden una secuencia de nucleótidos que codifica una proteína pesticida de la presente. Tales plantas son resistentes a los insectos y otras plagas. Se proveen métodos para la producción de los diversos polipéptidos descriptos en la presente, y para el uso de esos polipéptidos en el control o eliminación de una plaga. También se incluyen métodos y kits para la detección de polipéptidos de la presente en una muestra. Reivindicación 1: Un polipéptido recombinante que posee actividad pesticida, caracterizado porque comprende: (a) un polipéptido que comprende una secuencia de aminoácidos que posee por lo menos 90% por ciento de identidad de secuencia respecto de una secuencia de aminoácidos seleccionada del grupo integrado por las secuencias listadas en las Ids. de Sec. Nº 96, 79, 117, 316, 56, 57, 167, 276, 267, 109, 121, 75, ó 22; o (b) un polipéptido que comprende la secuencia de aminoácidos listada en las Ids. de Sec. Nº 96, 79, 117, 316, 56, 57, 167, 276, 267, 109, 121, 75, ó 22.
