Abstract

La presente proporciona proteínas insecticidas activas contra una plaga de la especie de coleópteros y/o hemípteros, que incluyen, de modo no taxativo, proteínas TIC3131, TIC3400 y TIC3407. La presente también proporciona una construcción de ADN unida operativamente a un promotor heterólogo que comprende un polinucleótido que codifica la proteína insecticida o un fragmento insecticida de este. La presente proporciona además plantas / células vegetales / partes de plantas transgénicas que expresan las proteínas insecticidas, métodos para detectar la presencia del polinucleótido o la proteína en una muestra biológica, y métodos para controlar una plaga de la especie de coleópteros y/o hemípteros usando las proteínas insecticidas. Composición inhibidora, microorganismo recombinante.
