Abstract
Se describe una composicion farmacéutica solida, oral, de liberacion controlada para un régimen de dosis diaria reducida, en donde el ingrediente terapéutico es un fármaco básico deficientemente soluble. La formulacion comprende el uso de una sal de alginato soluble en agua, una sal compleja de ácido algínico y un ácido carboxílico orgánico, en combinacion con el fármaco terapéutico. También se describe una modalidad particular que comprende una forma de dosis de una vez al día para claritromicina.
