Abstract
Se proporciona un material de acero que tiene alta resistencia y tiene resistencia excelente al SSC en un entorno amargo. Un material de acero de conformidad con la presente descripción consiste de, en % en masa, C: 0.15 a 0.45 %, Si: 0.05 a 1.00 %, Mn: 0.05 a 0.30 %, P: 0.030 % o menos, S: 0.0050 % o menos, Al: 0.005 a 0.100 %, Cr: 0.30 a 1.10 %, Mo: 0.40 a 2.00 %, Ti: 0.002 a 0.020 %, Nb: 0.002 a 0.100 %, B: 0.0005 a 0.0040 %, N: 0.0100 % o menos, y O: menos de 0.0040 %, siendo el resto Fe e impurezas, y tiene un límite elástico igual o superior a 862 MPa. En el material de acero, una densidad numérica de óxidos de Si en los que, en % en masa, un contenido de Si es del 20 % o más y un contenido de O es del 10 % o más, y que tienen un eje mayor de 5.0 µm o más es de 5 /100 mm2 o menos, y en un caso en el que el límite elástico es de 931 MPa o más, la densidad numérica de los óxidos de Si es de 5 /200 mm2 o menos.
